Why is Beyoncé with Jay-Z?

Who gives a fvck is a nice line, but apparently a lot of people do give a **** if you guys look at the emotional reaction this thread provoked...Ive never made a thread where I posted once and got more than 20 replies...
Anyway, Im not hating on Jay-Z, I bought his second album back in 98 (?) because I really digged "the city is mine". He makes great music, is a great entrepreneur, I dont envy him (some ppl mistook it for that), I rather sort of admire him...
just thought it was interesting how helpful "success" is and how much women dig "drive" and "ambition" and that whole thing...guys often argue "shes only with him because of his money", but I think in lots of cases women are with (rich) guys not only/mostly because theyre rich but because a guy being successful and making something out of his life like that is a big turn on

He's got the "hottest girl in the game wearing his chain" because Jay-Z is the shyt. The guy is a genius. The guy doesn't even write down his lyrics, he does them freestyle in the recording booth. He just has "it".

Look, Jay-Z is ugly. He's ugly as sh-t. He's the uggliest rapper to come out since Craig Mack. But when you get up to his level of status, it makes no difference what you look like. He could be the elephant man and still be pulling girls none of us could get at. Look at Seal, he's no pretty boy either, and look who he ended up with. We guys are lucky, looks take a backseat to money and status. An ugly woman, doesn't matter how much status she has, she could be royalty, no guy wants to bang an ugly woman.

She didn't when they first hooked up. Jay Z held her fathers hand when it came to the business aspect of hip hop and R&B. Got them through doors and arranged meetings for clothing lines and what not. It wasn't until after she met Mr Carter that she started to really bank.SinJester said:
