why game works

this is probably pretty obvious to most of you, but I really thought it'd be a good exercise to put my thoughts into words.

at the root of pickup is standing out. thats what peacock theory is all about.
however, standing out is not always accomplished in the same ways.

I have first hand seen the power of the game -- c&f, negs, push/pull. this drives some girls crazy. specifically, it drives craziest, the girls who always get the attention.

case study #1
HB9, who I am hooking up with now, is constantly being approached by guys.
some anecdotes to show how terrible Game is in China:
1) waiting at a street intersection a dude on a bike asks for her number (didn't build any rapport)
2) sitting in a taxi, the driver tries not charging her. after she insists on paying he tries to give her a discount in exchange for her number.

of course, she doesn't bite these -- nobody would. but this is the kind of attention hot girls get every day, just walking on the street, or sitting in a taxi.

so me running ABC game, straight up c&f, negs, push/pull, busy life, etc -- this is what drew her in. the more I ignore her the more she wants me.

case study #2
my AFC friend, has had only 1 girlfriend his entire life (is still dating her now in fact) -- was able to seduce another girl, HB6. of course, being AFC he didn't do this intentionally -- its just that he is an AFC and really, really nice. and HB6 fell for that, because she wasn't used to the positive feedback. in fact, negging or push/pull with her would actually have driven her away, because she would take it more as an insult than as flirtation.

case study #3
HB8 is a girl I went on one date with, and is interested in me, but I haven't hooked up with her yet, and she is currently in another city.
we had a lot of kino during our movie date, basically my arm around her and holding hands the whole time, but I didn't escalate to kissing for some reason (blame it on inexperience)
we kept in touch through phone after she left, and one day she pops the question "why didn't you kiss me?"

of course, she asks this in chinese, and i didn't understand what she meant. so she dropped the question.

we continue flirting through text/calls, then about a week later she brings up the subject again. this time I'm able to figure out what she means, and I play it off.

but the important thing is, even though I messed up by not escalating to the kiss (who knows if I'll ever get there now, since she's in another city).... but HB8 was DYING to know why it didn't happen. she's just not used to it. she actually admitted to me she thought i wasn't interested, and yet she still kept contacting me.



so the secret to the game is (not so much of a secret)... BE UNIQUE
if you want hot chicks, play cool
if you want fat chicks, be nice
if you want something inbetween, strike a balance

but ultimately, its not a strict formula that wins the girls, its being the guy that treats them differently.

GENERIC ADVICE...........which is about a decade old by the way........seldom hold up as the years pass by.

NOW if you actually meant to be more specific..........like be more social, take a chance, make the first move, don't hesitate, just go for it, WHILE being original, not so direct, and tease them ever so slightly and have fun with it............THEN I might agree with your insight.

i actually agree with what you say here
you're pretty much picking out specific instances, both the good cases and the bad cases, of my broad generalization

i know what i say is very generic, but i thought it would be a good exercise to put it into words. sometimes you need to verbalize something to really internalize it (and sometimes people need to read the obvious before they can internalize what they always knew)
hopefully this will help me and others to more consciously put this advice into action now =)
