I wouldn't call him an AFC. I just think he has relationship goals that aren't tied to having the best arm candy in his social circle.

And I think the process of a quiet, nerdy guy becoming famous may put him in a place where he wants to insulate himself from the fame-mongers and money-grubbers by being with someone who was with him from the beginning.

And, not to be sappy, but there is the whole emotional/chemistry thing. It can't all be about the arm candy.

Wise choice to stick with who he was with before, imo.
