I dunno. We've been kinda "friends" for about a year and a half. I keep trying to walk the hell away, but every couple of months she'll pop up again to lead me on, rinse, repeat. I did finally fvck her a couple weeks ago, but she's been on the fence ever since. Said she wanted to stay friends, I said I'd rather not. Blah blah blah. Sometimes she comes on to me hardcore, and other times she's really cold. Regardless, it never goes anywhere beyond her making out with me (besides that one time), then saying she wanted to stay friends. Whatever.
She still has hangups about her ex, and has been single for the past two years, but the other night she told me she knows she needs to move on now.
Anyway, I texted her again to say something like "I guess you're sleeping. I'm gonna head out anyway. Call me if you go out.". Then I got a text back saying, "You didn't get my message?". Umm... "No". Then nothing.
So I called her.
abridged convo:
me: What did you say?
her: That's wierd that you got one text, but not the other (I have had people send me messages, and I never get them, so she's probably telling the truth). Well, I had to (something about a family thing today, I wasn't really paying attention), so I wouldn't have been able to make it to the cookout anyway.
me: Oh well.
her: I kinda want to come out, but I don't have any money (she was unemployeed for a couple of weeks, and will be broke until next week).
Then she went on about how she doesn't know if she's gonna have money to go out at all the rest of the week, and some back and forth stuff about how she wants to stay home because she doesn't want to get changed, but she wants to come out, but she doesn't want to come out, ect...
me: Well, I'm going out anyway. There's nothing better to do, and I'm not gonna sit around the house. Maybe I'll see ya this weekend. And if you change your mind, and decide to come out, maybe I'll buy you a couple drinks (seriously, it doesn't matter, we've always bought drinks for each other).
her: I'll definately keep it in mind (she won't). Bye.
me: Later.
I have horrible phone skills.
So.... whatever. I don't know what she wants. I noticed that I was bumped up to #3 on her myspace friends list, just behind her best friend, and her best friend from HS who lives on the other side of the country. I took the ex who she's been hung up on's spot. Umm... yeah. I honestly don't understand the mentality behind that myspace crap, but girls seem obsessed with that stupid thing.
