hi everyone. i know women like a chase but when they have a boyfriend you usually hear them complaining saying things like "he never buys me flowers" he never cooks for me" but as soon as a man does these things for a woman she looses interest and sees him as a push over .....i just cant make sense of it lol. are the complaints compliments in disguise?

Personally, I've long ago taken the flowers out of my repertoire (with some complaints). Seems like just a tradition to keep the florists in business. And as the OP notes, they don't seem to appreciate it anyway - not really. Maybe because it's not original?

It's like an accessory for them or something. Okay, I need a handbag, some shoes, some earrings, and my boyfriend to buy me some flowers. It's just one more thing to make up their day. I've opted out.
