If you are better than the rest, then well done:rockon: . Most of the people I see, men AND women look like sacks of sh*t. Why should you lower your high standards?
If you are an Alpha, why should you care what the rabble think?

Unfortunately, this attitude pushes people away, it doesn't draw them in (which is what you want). You can portray your 'high standards' and ‘alpha status' in a cool seductive way. Acting arrogant makes people feel bad about themselves, makes them feel insecure, this will only hurt your efforts moving forward.

By the way, if you're well-dressed and not the life of the party, throw yourself into the crowd and start jabbering away. There's a thin line between "being mysterious" and just being a jerk who doesn't want to associate with anyone. Be personable.
