I'm telling you it's not only attention. Many girls will admit they make out with their friends while they are ALONE. I think they just enjoy the understanding they have of each other. Not that their all bi, some will get physical with other girls, but wont actually go on dates with other girls.

I'm not sure if this is some kind of attack on my sexuality but I'll disregard it. Anyways, I was saying that kissing among straight women is acceptable by our society because no one gets grossed out by it as they would if men were to do the same thing. It's just like observing two girls dancing together with their arms locked to the beat of the music. Can two straight guys do that without being laughed at? Probably not. It goes back to the idea that women are more emotional creatures who can share things with each other openly whereas guys can't get emotional with each other without feeling awkward. It's only acceptable for guys if it is done in some kind of joking, pseudo-homosexual way.
