She could be playing the RULES on you. I was going to post this in the I'm too sexy thread, (lol), but I guess this is the perfect example.
When you are really good looking or confident, sometimes a person will use their WHOLE ARSENOL of game against you, because they think YOU might think you are out of their league.
So they try to give themselves value with 1. not seeming as interested 2. unavailable and super busy with their great lives 3. they are so desired by so many, that you aren't a priority YET.
Its just like the game on here. Her older sister probably told her to cancel the date, and not even say why. Because "if he is really interested he will ask you out again". That you needed to be knocked off of your pedestal a little.
Kind of unrelated, but...
I shot myself in the foot once by doing this dumb sh!t.
Met this guy, who thought I was out of his league. Gave him my number. He called the next night, I didn't answer, and didn't call back. I felt like, hey, he thinks I am all that... I guess I better really seem that way... he has to call ONE MORE TIME before I answer...
He never called again. When I saw him again, he was STILL obviously into me, but now with something to prove, because he thought I really WAS out of his league. At one point in a later conversation he brought up how I didn't call him back, and he was so bitter and crushed even! No wonder he won't call again. Now when I see him, I always catch him staring... but he won't approach!
To my defense... I had JUST gotten back into the game. I made a dumb mistake. DOH. Stupid stupid stupid. Who knows how long it is going to take to get him secure enough to try again.
