why didn't she reply?

i've been trying to meet up with this facebook HB for ages now and she finally text me yesterday a time and place to meet today around 4.45pm. i gave her my work number and i replied to her from my personal number.

her: 'hey. thanks for the message on facebook. tomorrow around 6pm could be good to meet at (location x) does that suit? '

i waited till just before 9pm to reply from my personal number

me: hey this is my personal no. use this instead. tomorrow is fine but lets make it 6.30. i was thinking of taking u to my fave decadent bar in (location y) so if u can meet there that be great. if not, meet me at (place at location x) ok?'

now i would have assumed i would have got a reply that night but if not, the next morning. but i waited till around midday and still no reply (i feel maybe i should have waited till 1pm before following it up) and i found out that (location y) is closed for renovation so i text her:

'hey, change of plans, (place in location y) is closed so we'll meet in (location x) like u suggested. meet me at (place at location x) at 6.30 ok?'

i assume it was a bad idea following up the 1st text but i can't understand why she never confirmed after?

did i wait too long to respond to her initial message or was there something i said in it that was afc/clingy which made her not want to meet up?

If a girl really wants to meet with you, they will make it happen and not offer up excuses. It's a flake. Move on.

If she likes you, she will contact you. If not, it's her loss. Keep spinning the plates.

bear in mind it's a facebook meeting so with a stranger so that might make her more anxious than normal.

i feel the rules are adjusted very slightly in that higher percentage of flaking occurs cos she feels unsure and unsafe.

maybe she misinterpreted my 1st message that i'd take her from location x to location y rather than actually meeting at location x outright.

obviously my 2nd text clears that up but maybe it's just a BS test she's doing to see how clingy and needy i am if she doesn't get back to me.

but like u say, it's her responsibility to get back to me now?

^^^ Soo real soo true... Very little can stop a woman from being in the company of a man she likes... Excuses are signs of low interest and or BS'ing.

b) she's used to manipulating you, like making you wait, and now that you starting to act up, she desided to flake on you in retaliation.
