Why Be A Player?

So, I've noticed over time that the majority of this board feels the need to be a player. Having three or four women feeding out of the palm of their hand at a given time and speaking the word "relationship" is almost like hell freezing over. Everyone stops and gasps. "He did not just say 'relationship'. No! No! You did not just say that!".

It was after reading Vlad The Impalers post, "I Think I Got Dumped". He talked about seeing this woman off and on for a couple of months and after penkitten gave him a little advice, he says, "I only want this woman for sex". It was after reading this post that it came to me.

Why does everyone want to be a player versus meeting women for a relationship? Why should I choose to be a player instead of finding one woman that I really like and taking the relationship challenge? Just curious.

I know, I know, "Derek... You've been on this forum for three years and you don't know anything yet? I oughta...". In my defense, I live in a town with a population of 2,000. Yeah, not a lot to work with there.

Have you ever been in a relationship? Everyone doesnt have a good experience and may have to put up with some sh*t that they would prefer not to deal with. A lot of the douchebags on this site also have a high level of angst towards women because of their inability to get any female attention. A good number of the individuals on this site have big egos and are pretty insecure, which is a dangerous combination. I never wanted a relationship because the last girl i dated was a wh*re psycho b*tch, i didnt want to be tied down and put up with gay sh*t, nor had i met a girl who tickled my fancy. Now ive found a girl who i would date and probably will cause shes f*ckin gnarly. The guys who do want relationships try too hard to find a girl, fail, get pissed off, and develop a sense of disdain for women, resulting in the thought of being a player and hurting women.

You know all the women spin plates right? These days they probably have 5 suckers begging them for a date all at once.

To me, this site really has little to do with women. It is about us. It is about bettering ourselves. It is about making us the prize. Optimally, we should make ourselves so good that the women come to us, and we don't even need to worry about them.

I am on this site in order to stop being an AFC in life and turn out better, to turn into a real man. Getting the ladies is only icing on the cake. If I better my life, I won't NEED any woman.

Alright, hands down: I noticed that common trend on this site too ever since I came here. Spin multiple plates/Have many options/or basically have back up chicks. I believe its because most of the ppl on here are:

1) Trying NOT to get oneitis
2) Are AFRAID to get hurt(judging that they've been hurt in the past)
3) Trying NOT to get oneitis
4) Are AFRAID to invest feelings in someone in the worst case scenario that they may get fcuked over.
5) TRYING NOT TO GET FCUKING ONEITIS.

Don't get me wrong. Its great advice and all but I think it comes in the position of fear. Putting yourself out there IS part of the game and of course you've got your pros and cons when you do risk it. I think Im in the verge of ranting and getting sleepy ass hell so Im just gonna finish here. GO FOR IT!

they say spin multiple plates is for 3 reasons..

One- You will keep the girls longer because you will not seem desperate. You will not spend too much time with one girl and will not beg her for sex all the time thus making her want you more.

Two- If a girl is acting up you can quickly next her because you have backups.

Three- Well who can forget that having sex with 2-3 different girls is better than having sex with one. If you have sex with same girl for 1-2 years chances are you will get bored.
