Sir Shinra
Don Juan
Okay, so recently I have been on some first/second dates where I have eye contact that lasts a little bit longer than normal... in other words I'm looking at her from a few feet awaywith bedroom eyes (and usually a naughty grin) thinking that I want to kiss her. She's looking back at me, and suddenly says something like...
"What?!"
or
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
Or both.
They're usually smiling when they say this, but what the ****? This totally throws of my rhythm. I no longer feel the urge to kiss her at this point, and instinctively counter with something like "you looked at me first." It gets her laughing and gets her on the defensive but... it breaks the tension. I definitely can't kiss her at this point.
Not to mention, whenever this moment happens, there's a bit of physical distance between us, and there's no kino. I know that if I just stepped up to her, she'd probably get alarmed and pull away.
So is it normal for a girl to say something like this at a potential kiss close moment? Am I doing something wrong, or is this a **** test and I need to throw my balls on the line and just kiss her already?!
I have a feeling I just answered my own question.
