I don't understand why men today in the west are so weak and pathetic. Where did we go wrong?

There's estrogen in American water from the birth control that women use. They urinate it, and it re-enters the water supply because it's not regulated by the FDA. Boys growing up today have no masculine role models, and with old dad working nine to five and being only available on weekends, or having no father at all because (single mother) than you've got a recipe for a boy who becomes increasingly feminine. Mothers smother boys chances of growing up because they're scared of their boys taking risks and getting hurt in the process(from an evolutionary perspective, obviously you don't want your offspring to die, but the father usually stepped in to prevent her from doing this when it was excessive or unnecessary), but taking risks is a very important part of becoming a man.

That's very true, my mother didn't even let me play in the front yard without supervision. I had friends in school who had to ask their parents for permission just to go outside.

As for the parenting, yes definitely. The psychologist, Marie Louis-Von Franz brings this up in her book, "The problems of the Puer Aeternus".

I don't recommend you read that book though, I recommend reading "Man's search for himself" by Rollo May. It is more accurate in it's depictions.

I think that guys in the West turn to escapist hobbies and toys because feminism in the West has destroyed the chances for more meaningful pursuits, like building families. Don't get me wrong, it can still be done, but the odds are against you and it's a risky venture.

I think that guys in the West turn to escapist hobbies and toys because feminism in the West has destroyed the chances for more meaningful pursuits, like building families. Don't get me wrong, it can still be done, but the odds are against you and it's a risky venture.

It's more expensive to have a family, so women are turned off to the idea of having more than one kid. That's what I've observed in my generation anyway. The reason it's so expensive is because by introducing women into the workforce they've effectively devalued the cost of labor by introducing female workers. In low-cost of living countries that still maintain trad-values, women are obligated to depend on a man to provide AND women are also forced to maintain the relationship with said man as there are no safety nets which prevent their kids from starving if she decides to cheat and the man rightly leaves. Cheating would be close to death for women in these countries, sometimes symbolically by having the community collectively throwing her out as an outcast for committing a "taboo" or literally by islam where a beheading/lashing is expected.

Western men are not all soyboys and cucks though. I would say that Western men have both extremes of soyboy cucks and (even moreso) aggressive, jacked, superficially masculine guys compared to non-western cultures.

I have experience of non-western cultures and one thing for sure is that those cultures are just more chilled and friendly for men. There is more camaraderie, less insecurity, less need to prove oneself. Western men have more of this superficial wannabe alpha need to prove myself but really im insecure load-mouth attention seeking behaviour whereas non-western men are just more chilled and naturally confident.

Its mostly to do with how men in the west are pushed really hard economically and socially, the general breakdown of society, competition, generational expectations, more freedom for women, but also culture, media and advertising. It must be related to the economic and social dominance of the West globally, and it seems this is being paid for by the suffering of men.

Women aren't immoral, they're amoral. There's a difference. If you were in the position to screw any smoking hot banging chick, any day of the week, wouldn't you abuse that power? Chris Cuomo is a great example. Decent looking Italian guy, has power, had money and look what happened to him. Granted I think being way older was a factor too. No matter how good you look at your age most young women don't want a guy who's 60 unless they're a gold digger and usually those are a bit older than his accusers.

Just because I'm THINKING of doing something doesn't mean I pulled the trigger. I'm also not sinning my soul to such a shocking degree that will cause a mental and spiritual shock by looking at a face pick. I'm also saving my peace of mind too on top of the $ 160 I'm saving so it looks like a deal. But I just don't have the time to do it. Just very busy these days.
