I've been considering going to China to teach conversational English to adults, or college students.

I'm quite capable, my major is engineering but still I know how to converse well.

You guys are making it more complicated that it needs to be. Here are some simple, cold facts.

1) Non-western countries have a MUCH higher ratio of quality chicks. This is not even up for debate. Only someone who is a total idiot or has never traveled abroad would dispute this.

2) The vast majority of marriages and relationships between western men and foreign women do NOT work out.

How do you reconcile the two? It's a mix of factors. Cultural differences play a major role. But just as importantly, foreign women rapidly change for the worse once uprooted from their native environment and transplanted into a western country. In many ways, they become even worse than the local hos. Moral of the story: if you're going to marry a foreigner, you better move to her country and absorb yourself into her non-western culture. Bringing her to your home country is just a recipe for disaster.
