They think being gay is like a fashion trend.

What happen to straight men? Are straight men being considered as second class?

The dam politicians are scared **** of gay groups and feminists.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Most people in the spotlight will keep their homosexuality a secret as not to have it negatively affect their livelihood. There are plenty of actors out there that know better than to admit being gay as it would seriously hurt how the dumb general public perceives them, therefore limiting the kind of roles they get.

Do you really think an openly gay politician is going to get elected most places? Doubtful. People are too bigoted. The only major politicians we hear about being gay are the ones that have already been comfortably in office. Barney Frank comes to mind as someone who thought they could come out and still retain their seat without much issue. The other politicians we hear about being gay are the conservative ones who keep it a secret and then get caught sending lewd texts to their underage subordinates or get caught trying to solicit sex in an airport bathroom. The latter group certainly isn't flaunting it like a trophy either (in fact they'll deny it repeatedly).

The fact that you look at homosexuality as immoral just shows how you're as unenlightened and bigoted as so many others. YOU are the reason that people are scared to live an honest life, scared for people to know who they really are. A lot of people are either living a lie or living like a 2nd class citizen because of people's disapproval of anything out of the "ordinary." It's sickening really.

maybe they are catering to the homosexuals because they are 10% of our population, lots of money in lobbyists, and the fact that if you add up all of the gays and lesbian community in america that is a lot of votes/money.

Also we have come a far way from where we used to be (e.g. being gay was a mental disorder).

And there's a difference between bisexual and not being sexually attracted to the opposite sex.

I'm cool with gay people . . I live in MA for gods sake. And I think its perfectly within the realm of reason for a man to develop feelings for a man, or a woman to a woman. But there is a movement to legitimize it as being identical to heterosexuality - which IMO, is really the default and shouldn't even have a label. Even calling it 'heterosexuality' is kind of silly, like its a classification . . ALL sexuality comes from REPRODUCTION, doesn't it? And who reproduces?? Pretending otherwise is just mind-stuff/social bullsh*t.

I wish we could all just be real about things.

I don't know about you, but 99.9% of my sexual acts have come with no thought of reproduction in mind. In fact reproduction with most of my partners would scare me since they haven't tended to be the finest genetically.

I'm not saying we all get off on the thought of having kids, I'm saying the root reason we have sexuality is for reproduction. Once our minds get a hold of that sexuality, all bets are off. I have to disagree. I have a daughter and had to try a couple times to get that.

But every other time I've had sex the root reason was for my own pleasure.
