I've known this HB 9.0 (not only hot as fvck, but smart as hell) for 4 years. I actually set her up with her Beta BF a few years back and only about 6 months ago decided that she was a quality woman worthy of my attention. But alas... she was with Beta... nice guy... I really like the dude. But he really had no fvcking business being with this quality woman.... who was really only interested in him because he had money.

I don't chase women who have BFs... too much trouble. But since October I've been making it clear I was interested in her without actually asking her out.

Last week, I saw her at a party... Beta was no where to be seen. I walked up kissed her and talked for a bit and asked what she was doing for Marti Gras... Invited her and Beta, and her daughter to a party at my cousin's. My girls and her girl (they are the same age) were playing upstairs with my cousin's kids. Then God or the universe, or whatever the fvck you believe stepped in.

In walks a drunk @ss dude, high on meth or some ****ing drug and starts roughing up my cousins teenages. Right off the street.... which happens sometimes in NOLA. He moved past them and started heading up the stairs where my kids and HB9's child was.

Anyway... some of you guys know me... used to teach hand to hand combat to Army Rangers, Black Belt in TKD. I beat the holy hell out of this @ss wipe, broke his nose, his wrist, and knocked him out and the cops when they came to arrest him had to take him to the hospital before they booked him.

My hand had to get stitches since I cut my knuckles on his teeth.

Anyway... today I met up with HB9 and she told me she broke up with Beta Boy. Later, I heard from a mutual friend that after I left to get stitches, Beta Boy started talking about how I probibly "over reacted"... mostly because he was a weak @ss ***** who would have let this crazy motherfvcked just walk up the stairs to the little kids.

Called HB9 right after I heard this, asked her out... date tomorrow.

The moral of this story is that women want a bad @ass motherfvcker as a BF. Someone who is willing to put his @ss on the line to protect women and children. Do not buy into that new age sensitive guy BS. If you can show that you are willing to risk yourself to protect them... they will do anything to keep you.

I've read other posts by you before and enjoyed them. You're a bright guy. The situation you described is not going to favor you though. To men, it looks like you saved the family (girls and women), but to her it is a way to sh!t test you from now on. I was in exactly the same situation you described. Except I was both the Alpha and the guy with money. My ex was dating a Beta for 3 years, she said she loved him blah blah. But when I showed my interest in her, she dropped her boyfriend almost immediately, which I didn't expect she would do. Then I dated her exclusively for 4 months.

Then I find out she is a real slvt, who gives out her number to every guy that hits on her. I caught her lying to me multiple times about this. I haven't actually caught her physically having sex, but I could sense she could do it.

Moral of the story is this. If a girl dumps another guy for you then she is low quality, attention-wh0re who is always looking for something better. My logic is this, if she dumped her boyfriend of 3 years for me, why wouldn't she do the same to me in future?

These kind of girls don't have morals. And for low quality girls, it doesn't matter if her interest level is 100, she will never be loyal. They just can't be relationship material.

The title of this thread is a clear misnomer. What would have been a thousand times more apropos would have been "might makes right" - that's what you're trying to convey here. I normally think you provide some great insight, but this, this post of yours is downright sad and misguided. 1) There is nothing wrong with protecting the pack with a show of power and to rid the situation of the perpetrator. That is something not enough men are able nor willing to do today.

However, hospitalising the guy was a step too far, unless absolutely necessary. It doesn't sound like it was much of a contest. RangerMike obviously has the skills to grab the intruder by the scruff of the neck, simply toss his ass out on the street and give him the look that tells him if he doesn't f*ck off at that instant, then he will be hospitalised.

2) Ranger, ask yourself what your situation would be now if you had killed the guy - which let's be honest, is improbable, but not impossible. You'd likely get manslaughter at best; you and your kid's lives, both royally screwed for the foreseeable. Yes, be a man when you need to be, and to the extent you need to be. But not a thug. As Nismo alludes, we rarely know who or what is round the corner.

3) As for impressing women... well, that is really inconsequential if you're in the pen for a decade or so for taking it too far; ol' HB 9 would be the least of your concerns when there's a pair of 9" d!cks bearing down on you in the shower room.

Setting his "friend" up with the "HB9" and then trying to steal her back was a dirt move. But it isn't really right to call him a white knight here. The nutball was heading up the stairs where his own kids were - what kind of man would he be if he had NOT stepped in?

Maybe he did go too far, hard to say without being there. I do know a guy who liked to fight, he ended up accidentally beating a dude to death outside of a bar.
