my friend got into a fight with a karate instructor and he was a 2nd in state HS wrestler (a year out of HS)... and the karate guy landed 2 good kicks... and my friend got him to the ground and beat him.

im on wrestlings side, because i am one. since most fights do end up on the ground, someone knowing how to own someone on the floor would have the upper hand.

now a karate wrestler, vs. just a normal wrestler, i'd said the karate wrestler who knows both fighting styles

It wouldn't even be a fair fight. Wrestlers are dudes you don't want to mess with. Boxing has so many rules, it leaves the guy kind of vulnerable in a street fight. Even though wrestling has rules, its more applicable. Hands down, wrestler wins.

Its too abstract and circumstantial to call it because anything could happen. In order for the wrestler to win he needs to grab onto the boxer and who is to say the boxer wouldn't give him a TKO with one good punch??!

Quickness, intelligence also play a factor not just the type of fighting.

Chargers almost beat them...

Now, it's Pats and Indy. That's a barn burner.

However, this question is one I've heard many times. Due to the fact that man "street" fights end up on the ground, the wrestler would win in that aspect. Now, if the wrestler keeps getting socked in the face and doesn't take the fight to the ground, then he may get his ass whooped.

Thats why you train MMA. :)
