I have searched him up on wikipedia but he doesn't seem like a nice guy at all. While i don't know the whole story which i would like to know/read if anybody has the source for me. Why are we all trying to become like Don Juan?

good question. Only thing I can think of that comes close to Don Juan is Don Quixote. His story paralells to the methodology and thought processes as related to this site. And with this reasoning, is also the dillema too. Don Quixote was a Silly/Suave numb nut. Just like many of the users on here . Take what you feel you can use to advance you're "game". The rest is clever marketing skills and advertising to the ones who the "game", continues to "Anally Assassinate". The short reply is rape. Stop letting these bitc*es manipulate you're well being. Man up and everything after that is small stuff, that should handle itself in its own time.

That was good:rockon:

I believe it's the "Don Juan" mentality of "live for the moment and for yourself", not actually becoming the man. This is a highly masculine trait and DJ is probably one of the better examples of someone who lived their life the way they wanted to, even if at the end he met an unpleasant death.

There have been so many versions of this story but the basics are this. Don Juan was a rogue character and a man of many conquests (seductions), counting well over a thousand. His reason, all women deserve to be seduced and made love to properly. In the many stories he would seduce married or suited women who longed for the passion missing in their lives, which he would gladly provide. But he only had one true love, the noble lady Donna Anna, who was engaged to a man of class. While preparing to seduce the lady, Don Juan is caught by her father, the Commander who challenges him to a duel. Don Juan kills the Commander and escapes. He comes back looking for forgiveness from Donna Anna some time later and as he passes through the graveyard he hears a voice coming from the statue on the tomb of the dead Commander. Don Juan invites the statue to dinner at his house and is surprised when the ghost of the Commander shows up at his house, who in turn invites Don Juan to dine with him at the graveyard. Don Juan accepts, and when he shows up at the man's tomb the statue asks to shake his hand, Don Juan extends out his arm and soon finds himself being dragged to hell.

If you want a real life historical "Don Juan" check out Casanova. Check him out on Wikipedia.

He was somewhere high ranking in the spanish navy, who had a lot of conquest with women. The legend goes that when he died The devil said he could be forgiven for his sins if he could name one of the women he seduced, the women strolled right past him, and when the last one came up, crying he said something about "give me the jokers cape"(or something about humiliating position) and he lived the rest of eternity in hell

Im sure there are many versions, this is just the one i had heard

heard or read. I know there are many versions to this story but that's one I'm not familiar with at all. The best version IMO is Lord Byron's epic tale, first published in 1819, where he depicts Don Juan in a more innocent way. Those familiar with the movie version with Johnny Depp, will see a lot of Lord Byron's back story and character elements used for the characterization of this delusional version of Don Juan.

Almost all of the historical and older fictional seducers are not great literal examples of the SoSuave DJ. In general we (men) "respect" the seducer so much that Don Juan and the others are spoken of in positive terms. I see it as the positive version of the myth - the seducer - that is the model for SoSuave.
