Who dates the average and below-average looking chicks?

Since attractive looking women (moderately cute to strikingly good-looking) make up less than half of all women in their 20's:

A.) All men (regardless of what they look like) prefer attractive looking women to average and below average looking women.

b.) All men are motivated by looks first, personality and intelligence second.

So, alot of men are going to get the shaft being stuck with average and below average looking women since there are not enough attractive looking women to go around for everyone.

As for the average looking ones, I can\'t see why you couldn\'t overlook her average-ness if she had the coolest personality, that\'s if you\'re after more than a quick lay of course. As for under average, it\'s a no-no either way.

Agh. I'm too young to go after chicks who I don't find attractive. Maybe when I'm older and wiser I'll settle down for a good matronly type or some sh*t, but right now I'm just a cutie-chaser. In my opinion, you have to learn by experience what you really want in a woman so you don't end up with an average-looking chick and just wonder what might have been if you had ever been with a hot chick. That's just me, though.

It's like this one time I called one of my chick-friends out on her own bullcrap when we were eating lunch the other day (we had a falling out). She was like "Mike, why don't you date any average looking girls. You know looks aren't everything. Gosh, sometimes you're so stupid." This girl was average, and I knew she had a thing for me and she was indirectly talking about me not dating her. I tried to explain it to her the best way that I could, yet in a completely indirect way. I pointed at some random skinny goober in the cafeteria wearing slacks with a tacky collared shirt. He had some greasy hair and a disgusting combover. This guy made Urkel look like Leonardo DiCaprio.

I pointed at him and was like "hey, I was talking to that guy over there and he said he liked you. His name's Chris. Do you want to meet him?"

She was like "eww no, he looks disgusting."

Then I said, "whoa! whoa! I thought looks weren't everything!"

Long story short, she says I'm a jerk but she still texts me all the f*cking time and won't leave me alone. Some people need to just stop being desperate. I hate to sound like a jerk, but seriously, that's obviously a double-standard.

Haha, okay, this isn't really THAT relevant to the thread, but I had to let it off my chest. Stupid chicks think that they're being victimized by us. The door swings both ways, punks.

Deacon, I was having an interesting conversation about the same thing with a girl online. We both agreed that it's looks first, personality second. Personality matters, but after the looks are already there.

I look around everywhere I go and see guys that don't seem that bad looking with girls that are ugly and/or fat and it's like, I'd rather be single my whole life than date a girl like that. I'm a thin, good looking guy, and I'll still be thin and good looking well into my 30s and 40s (I'm 24), why should I ever go for some girl with a really ugly face or some fattie?

That being said, the hottie with the snobby personality is useless too.

First, looks are largely a matter of taste, so your fat pig might be someone else's huge titted love machine. Second, almost all women are adequately attractive at some point (16-24) in their lives. They know when it is and they tend to make the most of it.

Finally, there are a lot of loser guys out there. They need some tail too. Average wage in the US is probably under $40K per year, and most Americans are fat to boot. Those guys are gonna be either dating the warpigs or visiting Mrs. Palmer and her five daughters.

Many men will fvck anything and often can't be remotely choosy since most women have a huge sexual power advantage, also most average women get sexed regularly by quality guys anyway. Few men would actually reject to have sex with a HB 5-6 if it's on a plate.

I did once. She physically repulsed me when I saw her naked. And to this day I still can't tell why. Must have been her cnut or something, but I was repulsed almost to the point of barfing. I ended up walking out of her apartment.

I disagree with the OP. Some guys don't go for looks. They either don't care or are settling.

Let's face it, unless you're living in a big city, most of the women you see on a day to day basis are in the 0-5 range...0-5 being women that are 0-5 to the majority of guys. Woman comes along in a guy's life, guy takes what's in front of him. I for one would rather be alone than be in a relationship with a woman I wasn't physically attracted to, but not all guys are like that.

You have to take into the account that majority of men are AFCs and then there are many who are naturals but can't really cold approach so there options are still limited.

If you realize its only the 1% of guys who are high value and have the confidence to pull super hot chicks, the rest of guys are full blown chodes

So a chode would start wanting to **** something, and lower his standards because his identity is low value, he believes that he isn't capable of getting a super hot girlfriend for whatever excuse. Most of the time its superficial.

They become desperate, lazy, and just want have sex and overall a chick to validate there life. At that point almost any girl will do.

You also have to take into account the shallow hal effect, some people are attracted to certain looks that others might not like. I think there is a universal good looks, meaning there are certain chicks that everybody finds attractive, and then the chicks who maybe a 1 for one guy but 10 for another.

I know for me personally there is a few specific looks that I go for which I generally would never go for. Meaning I know its not the best or maybe not even as good looking as I'm used too but something about her look attracts me and gives me that urge to fuk her.

Generally speaking any chick can get laid, but not every man can get laid. (Unless he pays for a hooker) The guys who settle for medicority will get the bottomless scraps while the better men (Men who convey there personality well) will get the full blown hotties.

I'm not just talking about sex terms which some people call "the quick nut" in relationship terms you have many chodes that just want the validation of a girlfriend. It's sad but true. A girl should never validate your life, your life is validating in itself because your living your life how you want too, if not you should be.

The problem with me is that I typically like women that would be at worst above average to the majority and at best very attractive. I like thin white women with straight hair, a pretty face and subtle curves. In other words, women that aren't at home dateless and sexless.

The one advantage, I suppose, is that they are classy looking women. Noticed on that "HB10" page that a lot of guys posted slutty and trashy looking women, so for me, going for Winona Ryder looking women isn't that far-fetched, especially considering I'm not a bad looking guy.

Yeah, there tends to be a lot of overlap in the girls that men think are attractive. If you noticed one chick, odds are at least 3 other guys in the room noticed her too. This is what breeds competition.

I've got friends who are pretty skilled players but they are pretty much AFRAID to be single (only god knows why), and yet they will hook up with HB7+s from time to time but they get in LTRs with pretty ugly chicks (HB4-5)

Ok to cap off the post i just want to get across that I think this thread was started with an ignorant view and that pretty much any girl can be a highly rated by quite a few guys that would be highly rated by the girl.
If you have a diverse social circle ask your friends and it will become apparent.

I think the OP was referring to women that would be below average or ugly to the majority, i.e. most of the girls you see on myspace with body angle pics or butt ugly faces. And the answer is, some guys settle. I've seen plenty of decent to really good looking guys with below average girls (4 or below to most guys). They either 1.)Go for personality. 2.)Don't think of themselves as good looking and don't think they can do better. 3.)Have had HBs and want a low-maintenance girl without the drama who will look up to them and be grateful that they have a hot bf. And obviously 4.)Guys that are ugly/average themselves that either settle or have bad taste.
