A woman only carries one egg. A man carries millions of sperm.

A man can impregnate a million women. A woman can only have one child every 10 months.

From an evolutionary standpoint, men have the genetic makeup to be polygamous and be the father of many.

Over dinner on Sunday night, a girl I'm dating said something about polygamy and that really men should have more than one wife and "do you know why?"

I said what you put above. She said, "exactly!"

I'm not sure what it says about the girl other than she's not completely clueless and has thoughts about things besides shoes.

Then I told her if i ever had a kid i'm immediately going to have a paternity test. She didn't seem to mind that either... hmm.
