I am currently going through a break up with an South East Asian woman. I thought given her culture (I am from the same culture but raised in a Western country) she would have shared traits of our culture (traditional, mild mannered, nurturing etc) but I seem to have found an exception. Just wondering if you guys have any nationalities you would recomment or I should stay away from when looking for a potential wife? Thanks.

As long as you avoid any country which has an official and respected feminist party/association you should be fine.

Check also divorce stats for that relative one, they are a benchmark of feminine health.

I recommend keeping your eyes and ears open, instead of gaming based on expectations.

You never know who will have the qualities you want. Culture defines how a person goes about daily life and practical problems, but it doesn't turn someone crazy into someone reasonable.

Bottom line - culturally you can look for someone who values family, loyalty, discipline, education. That kind of thing.

BUT - you can't depend on culture to make a person smart, reasonable, independent, or forgiving.

It's just that none of those culturally influenced choices mean jack sh*t in dating.

Nationality? How many of you are even spending half of the year in another country? None of you are! So this question is silly. When you have spent more than 6 months in another country dating local girls who speak little English you can answer this question. Dating immigrants doesn't count. Immigrants are more Anglo than my always tanned California born azz will ever be.

Since I fit the requirements I will say without question Ukrainians. Classically beautiful, very young, hyper-feminine, and head strong when it comes to taking care of you. They are everything I never saw in California growing up. In saying that, EVERY swarthy Mediterranean (from France to Beirut) seems to be in Ukraine these days. Sitting around with their s---- tans and dark sunglasses thirty minutes after the sun has gone down. Even Vk.com is watered down these days with thousands of Giulio Matterazzi's and Jean-Luc Hadid's. It use to be I only had to worry about Turks. God help me once Euro 2012 is over. Every Sven and Jan will start invading Maidan on the weekends.

Honestly, southern girls make the best, most devoted wives. They tend to be more down to earth. Chicks from the northeast (especially NY) are just too prissy.

Stay away from certain British women known as the Geezerbird. The Geezerbird is usually a girl who dresses to the nines, but has the toilet humour of a man and likes to down pints of beer, likes to get tanked off her titties on vodka shots and you'll usually see them vomiting in the streets, urinating in the streets too or having a massive fight with some other girl.

Our chicks are classy man, why go for a nice Thai woman who can cook your meals and sucky, sucky for ten dollah when you can have a nice British girl who can drink more beer than you?

Dont know about other countries but ive had a LTR with a girl from the south (Louisiana) and another LTR with a girl here in NY. The Southern girl was sweet and all but drove me crazy! but wanted to be with me and stay with me. she was SOO attached to me, i couldnt take it anymore. The girl here in NY was sweet nice but then turned out to be satan. so i dunno...

Thanks for the replies guys. I know I am generalizing, but nationalities do have certain traits in common but then you have to delve deeper to get to know the person. I live in Australia but am from a mixed Asian/Western background. I don't plan to play the field all my life, I do want to settle down eventually with the right person once the novelty of playing the field wears off. But what I seem to have gotten so far from some of the responses I have had is that the less Western the better (with the exception of the gold digging types) and country towns are a better bet.

I like Canadian girls. Most are laid back and friendly. As an American, you WILL have to listen to her mandatory rant about Georrge Bushh (even if you didn't vote for him), but that's true with any foreign woman lol. But after that
Canadian girls are quite likeable. The only snobby ones I met were from British Columbia.

Back to the US, I would say Midwestern is my favorite.
