You can get plain Creapure creatine dirt cheap. $18-20 for 1,000g

If you want an all in one deal, that is a decent one, try Green MAGnitude from Controlled Labs. 2 forms of creatine and a few other things. It's about $33 for 80serv which is really good.

I also add my own Beta-Alanine to it as well.

I'm on a Green MAGnitude and White Blood stack at the moment and it is going good so far. I do however dose my White Blood a little different than what the bottle says. I actually take it at night before I go to bed.

Yesterday I went out and bought a 3.17 pound container of Body Fortress's Super Advanced Creatine. Since I'm going to be doing my deadlifts today, I'm looking forward to see what it does for my workout. I'm going to mix it with water, drink it before I go to the gym then have more right after I finish up.

I would have suggested the newer way of taking creatine really, and avoiding the whole Creatine+sugar mix.

This was fine 8-10yrs ago, but with the new forms of creatine, you dont need the sugar.

I would have purchased the Green MAGnitude from CL for 33 and gotten 80serv.

You only get 52serv and that is because you are getting mostly Dextrose in that scoop.

If you still want to do the same deal as you have, make it yourself.

Buy PLAIN creapure
Go to the health food store and buy PURE dextrose
Buy Kool-Aid packets of your choice.

Mix it all and take it. 1Tsp is usually 5g creatine and then just measure the dextrose.

Might take a bit more time, but you'll save 2x the money.

I would first shoot for the other forms of creatine

How does Magnesium Creatine Chelate work?

MCC will deliver 12% more free creatine to the body than a 5 gram serving of creatine monohydrate. It is a stable molecule and will not convert to creatinine in stomach acid.
MCC is a patented form of creatine that provides a highly bio-available source of creatine and magnesium which can help prevent cyclization of creatine in the gut and improve creatine absorption. This powerful form of creatine combines the forces of magnesium and creatine into a single synergistic and patented molecule - magnesium creatine chelate. The formation of a chelate of creatine with magnesium using Albion Laboratories' patented technology can protect the creatine from destruction in the digestive tract and make higher quantities of the physiologically active form of creatine available to the muscle cells.

This is why plain monohydrate is kind of obsolete. In fact, I personally respond much better to the CL Green MAGnitude then any other creatine product I have used before. Mostly just pure monohydrate.

When you walk into a NFL weight room (National Football League) you won't see a bow flex in sight. They only use free weights.

PS. Brett Favre gets paid by bowflex LOL so save those comments. You won't find a bowflex in the Packers weight room

At this point you probably have a woman (or multiple women) chasing you around, calling you all the time, wanting to be with you. So let's talk about how to KEEP a woman interested in you once you have her. This is BIG! There is nothing worse than getting dumped by a woman that you really, really like.

No supplement will work if your not training and dieting correctly. It's like somebody once said, "If you don't diet right all supplements will do is give you a very expensive piss."

Remember two things about creatine:

1) Drink ALOT of water. More than your used to. Aim for a gallon and a half. The only thing is that you'll be using the bathroom every 20-40mins. Which isn't a bad thing.

2) Take it correctly. That means you have to load up the first week. (Take a scoop everymeal for a week) Then you only use one scoop a day.

Forget the Bowflex, it helps for teaching you form but NOTHING compares to the advantage of free weights. Ever wonder how guys get those massive backs/arms? Free weights my friend, free weights. UNLESS there genetically gifted but you should use free weights, compound body exercises, sleep and rest.

Do what EFFORT, Quag, Stallion and (myself included) do, use the K.I.S.S.
method

Very True

Remember two things about creatine:

1) Drink ALOT of water. More than your used to. Aim for a gallon and a half. The only thing is that you'll be using the bathroom every 20-40mins. Which isn't a bad thing.

Drink more water, but you dont have to do the whole drink a gallon extra anymore. This used to be the case where you had to load up and do extra, but doing the gallon you do is fine. Most labels say drink adequate water. I mean if you dont, its not like you are going to have problems. But just make sure to keep the water intake in. And you will pee more if you drink that much anyway as the body can only hold so much water at a time. Only a minute effect has to do with the creatine. You will pee more, but not crazily all day long. If you do its more related to just the extra water. I do a little more, but its only part of the day.

2) Take it correctly. That means you have to load up the first week. (Take a scoop everymeal for a week) Then you only use one scoop a day.

For the regular stuff you should, but for the other forms and like what I mentioned (the controlled labs stuff) you dont need to load on it as it gets absorbed better anyway and the uptake will be there.

Creatine and protein definately work well together. Protein builds muscle while creating gives you more fullness and stamina, some products like profusion from bignutrition already combine the two.

Creatine and Carb Intake

I want my body fat down to 7 % by early summer. For the past two weeks I have not eaten any simple sugars, that means no cereal, no sweets (I went to the buffet the Sunday before last and only had chicken, and complex carbs), and I'm really fighting it because there are variety of cookies, and some cake with nice frosting that I really wanna eat but I'm not. The most I'm eating as a cheat snack is some jolly rancher's candies and I shouldn't even be doing that. I'm especially missing my cereal and milk. :cuss: j/k about the cussing stuff. Anyway, I have been eating complex carbs and keeping them to the early part of the day. The thing is it occurred to me this afternoon as I was getting ready to head to the gym that the creatine I've been mixing with my water has dextrose as one of its primary ingredients. Dextrose is a carb. So when I've been trying to keep my carbs BELOW 50 g a day-really shooting for 35-38 g- does the creatine throw me off? I add about 1.5 scoops to the water and mix it together. For anybody on timed carbs, how has creatine affected your progress wrt reducing body fat? BTW, I only use creatine on gym days.

Stay strong Don! Like you I'm off pretty much all simple carbs. Only carbs I'm having is plain rolled oats, almonds, and mabye an apple once or twice a week.

Temptations such as cakes and cookies are hard to fight, the only way to win is to deny them battle!
