pick up your female/male friends? Do you all just meet them through other people? the past few times i've tried approaching a female they proceeded to walk as if i didn't just try to speak with them.

I need some good buddies that i can chill with. If it were highschool it wouldn't be a problem, but i'm in college and the people there are mostly foreigners and people out of my area, we have to call n set up meetings whenever we do. I need some local girls n guys to hang out with. What would you say is the best route for attaining this without initially working through the people you know?

Holla in the street

YOu sound like youre not from NYC
Ok, you tried approaching girls in the street? or at your school?

Anyway at the City schools most of the people there already have their lives outside of school in their hoods. Most of the girls, outside of class, are either on their cellphones talking to people or listening to their i pod. But when theyre not you could try. This is NYC, people are not as friendly so u need something important to say to her. Try girls in your classes.

Yes, guys mostly bag girls off their girl-friends. All the girls i know say they dont give their # out. Because really, its madd random, youre a total stranger. In the 80s here they od on the 1980s pick up lines, but now guys cat call women and approach them. When women see this, they associate it with being the chickenhead who gives it up to the superthug who wants a quick f***.

yea, i'm from new york, in the bronx. The thing is that my high school friends live far away from me since i went to high school in the south bronx. And i'm only close with one of em.

Yea, that's what i mean... this IS nyc... and meeting people off the street is not easy if your not in an area where there's a lot of people passing to begin with. The girls in my college classes are girls that i wouldn't wanna chill with.... they're either goth or korean. Which is why I was approaching girls off the street in my area, last three tries ended up in them being anti-social. I'm not gonna stop trying though..

I was thinking about going to clubs to meet new people but I hate clubs for the fact that fights get started over stupid reasons there.

Who did you hang out with in high school. Its kinda late to be making a completly different social life, you gotta continue with the one you got and expand it. You have to get guys and girls' cellphone #s and chill. My life is very complicated. I used to live in jackson heights queens then 10th grade i moved to bx and bk. my parents live in bk and my grandma in bx. So i just have two blocks at the same time. So i go through my cellphone when i wanna chill and call up people i went to school with in bx. Now granted, i dont know girls that well. All girls i know are my friends' leftovers. they say "oh let me finish that chick off, then you can talk to her." im in the same problem as you basically.

it doesnt have to do with people passing. Fordham rd, theres alot of girls passing but nobody bags over there. Shes chilling and going about her day, shes going somewhere, and youre gonna go hit her off with some random ****. Because i know what David D. says about 'sparking attraction' in an instant. But in reality usually youre not saying anything relavent to her. If youre just the average guy to her, and you go up to her, shes not really listening shes like "oh f*** is this n**** trying to holla at me, what does he want"

In high school I hung out with the popular crowd, I have quite a few people's numbers, the only thing is that i'd have to have cash to go n chill with them. I haven't been working since i had to go to florida so i'm looking for a job now. That is an option though.

Yea, I know there are a hell of a lot of girls on fordham rd. And what you said is exactly the reason i only go there to shop. Everyone there is on their way to go somewhere. They'll block you out and continue along their way. Which is also the reason I don't really approach much when i'm outside, because I'm outside to go somewhere and I don't feel like stopping to talk to someone who may end up wasting my time.

Imma try to catch up with some old friends and still try to meet some new ones. Either way i know I need a CAR and more people to hang out with.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.
