Where do older men go to pickup women?

So the standard places are social circle pickups, nightclub pickups, online, and of course cold approaches. I suppose activity pickups are in there too, like taking dance classes, and for people in school there is of course the university campus. What about men over 30, 35, 40? Does this stay the same?
For many, the social circle suddenly consists of married friends with kids, not a bunch of single partygoing types. Nightclubs? I always thought they were for the younger crowd and an older person would stand out like a sore thumb there. Cold approaches? I would think the creepiness factor would increase with age, and eventually the vast majority of "age appropriate" women out there would be doing the married with children thing. That leaves online where women are just as picky about age as men are, and meeting through activities and hope there are some decent looking available women around. So where do you guys go to meet women?

dude,Im 30 and it depends what you want to find.
My fav is bars not too fancy but a good place where weekday a girl can go for a drink and not all dressed up so your chances are better.
also hotel lounges are pretty cool.

In my town there is an adult night life scene. It consist of after hour places, a few clubs that cater to all ages, and some upscale martini bars and lounges. Also a few upscale resturants here have a great friday and saturday night bar scene. I'm in a small town but this is enough to sarge in. The same people usually frequent all of these places.

Also join organizations in your area. I'm in several business organizations and the same people I see in these groups I see out at the upscale spots. It helps you form a social network.

I don't go to the places that the college kids go to that much, I look young enough to pass for mid to late 20s but I feel older around them.

One of my faves are outdoor gatherings such as a weekly concert series. Where I live, there are concerts every Thursday from five to eight that travel around to different bars/restaurants every Thursday. There is a copy-cat series that runs on Friday evenings. These are great venues imo. In fact, the crowds are generally older.

I'll usually ride my motorcycle down to them with my buddy, and I can't tell you how many times I've left these things with a woman on the back of the bike with her legs squeezed around me. It also is a good launching point for an insta-date, since everybody is getting oiled up on booze and they don't want to go home at eight when the concert ends. You can get insta-dates like crazy.
