Translation: where the hotties at?

I don't live in a huge metro area, but in 2020 and before, it wasn't difficult to find parties/networking events/meetups etc. for younger adults.

Now, in late 2021, almost everything has dried up. Young adult groups in churches? Non-existent. Nightlife bars and clubs? Everything closes by 9, maybe 11 in a best case scenario. Meetups? A huge decline in participation, even in nearby metro areas.

There was a noticeable spike this weekend as significantly more hotties were out randomly so I know there are still young adults and even hotties locally but it's like they're f-cking meerkats just out for a peek.

Have all younger adults fled to the cities? This seems like a sudden reversel as everyone was fleeing big cities because of all of the restrictions.

Everything is so f0cking confusing right now!

Most young adults are very insular these days thanks to the internet and social media, add the pandemic and it has only made things worse.

The big cities are the only place to find them thats right, the suburbs are mostly old folks

Every in person meetup group only has a few attendees here in sydney and they are usually 50+ year olds

From what I have been able to tell, many if not most big cities have been overwhelmed with immigration, a lot of it illegal, so it just becomes this ugly, chaotic hodge podge and the hot women seem just as rare as anywhere else. This includes cities like miami, hou, LA, phoenix, tucson, etc. which are basically extensions either of mexico or cuba or central/south america.

When it comes to conservative cities in the south, the obesity rate is off the charts.

A lot of young adults are completely tied into social media, so maybe they are more freaked out than anyone else about the fake pandemic. A lot of them are taking classes online and then in their 'free time' they log into twitter and instagram etc.

It just seems like the entire country is a lost cause. I really hope I'm wrong about this, I probably am, but there are way too many signs that actual social interaction at least on a regular basis is almost a thing of the past.

It really has dried up here as well. The only place I can think of where I will meet people is when I get around to doing MMA classes, and that will be a strata of different ages I'm sure.

As for everything else, I'm in the same boat my friend

Young adults have been going to cities for a while. In most US metros, the closer to the center of the main city will be where younger singles reside.

Church groups are declining even in urban areas as the current generation of 20s/30s people participates in organized religion less. This is a trend that's been going on for at least 20 years.

Other things that were going off in 2019 aren't happening due to pandemic fears.

Where on Earth are you? Things have been mostly open the whole time in PHX metro. Well the bars & clubs were closed for a bit but they’ve been open for many months now, kids are attending school AT school and life is honestly pretty normal. And while stuff was shut down (which lasted really about 60 days hardcore) you could still go to restaurants and get pick up & eat in the parks.

There are gorgeous young women everywhere here. Everywhere. And it’s not like they are all ghetto or Latina either.

I’ve seen people out and about in Houston, PHX, and LA in the nightlife scene. Young pretty people. Everywhere.

Maybe you’re not hitting the right venues? I’ve been all the places I listed within the last 30 days. People are out & about, trust me.

I mean have you seen the World Series games on TV? Packed stadiums. Ditto NFL & college football games in US.

I've been meaning to check out PHX and Tucson, hearing lots of great things. My understanding is that cost of living is pretty reasonable, plenty of pro and college sports if you're into that sort of thing, probably huge outdoor sports scene. Reasonably conservative politics at least for the time being.

The only major concern I have is how I'd be able to handle the weather. I can handle dry heat like vegas pretty well, but humidity is almost impossible for me to deal with.

LA is pretty much f-cked for me with all of the mask wearing, it's really stupid. I know there are pockets in socal which are conservative where mask wearing is not a big thing, but the city proper is probably f-cked.

I know you can't top the nightlife in cities like LA and NYC, but I am seriously not into latinas. Nothing wrong with them as a nice alternative, but as a staple, absolutely not.

Phoenix used to be a cheap alternative to California up until some point in the 2010s but no longer. Take a look at apartment rents and housing prices. It's not the bargain it once was.

Phoenix has never been a great city for employment. There are not too many good corporate jobs there especially for a city of its size. The quality of jobs there would be something you'd expect out of a metro area 1/3rd to 1/2 its size. Job quality and corporate relocations have not kept up with growth. This is even worse with rising real estate prices and rising prices in general.

The same two things can be said for Tucson but to a lesser degree. Tucson is also another overgrown town.

Both Phoenix and Tucson are conservative when compared to California, Oregon, and Washington (state). However, neither is all that conservative. Tucson is more liberal than Phoenix.

Your own exercise and fitness is more important than overpaid multimillionaires hitting or throwing around a ball.

The weather is quite hot half the year. This is roughly mid-April to mid-October. You won't be enjoying outdoor recreation as much during this time unless you would like to do it at 6 AM. The heat is dry, like Las Vegas.

Taking everything into consideration, I would not recommend either place. I haven't even talked about the water issues, which are always present and are likely to get worse.

It's intersting I'm talking about Phoenix and Tucson in a thread about "young adults" because both have substantial retiree population. There are major universities in both areas but I think there are more retirees in both areas than university students.

LA is pretty much f-cked for me with all of the mask wearing, it's really stupid. I know there are pockets in socal which are conservative where mask wearing is not a big thing, but the city proper is probably f-cked.

LA and NYC are bad. I like Latinas. I am white and tend to mesh better with white women. I like Latinas more than East/South Asian women or black women.

I prefer a milder climate but can tolerate most types of weather aside from extreme humidity (Miami). It seems like most people can if PHX and Tucson are experiencing explosive growth.

It is picking back up. I'm thinking next Spring it should be pretty good. But where did they go? They ran to hide behind their phones. They started thinking they were in a big relationship because they were texting on Tinder or some social media/OLD for a week. Then when one stopped replying the other thought they were having a "breakup".

I don't think you are wrong.
But I think awareness of the scamdemic is improving and people are saying screw it and are getting out. I went to an event that had so many people packed in it that it would take over an hour or more sitting in your car trying to work your way to where the parking areas were. The several square block area of the outdoor event was so packed that even on foot it was difficult to get anywhere. The total number of people "wearing masks" that I saw was maybe 4,...just 4,...out of thousands.

I live in a blue state and everyone is sick of it, especially young adults.

Even the diehard liberals who supported every sh-tlib cause for the past 2 years: blm, masks, feminism, etc. are now enraged by the mask and vax being shoved down their throats and up their noses nonstop.

This is a strange time because the liberals are just about ready to cause a sh-tstorm in protest of liberal causes.

I'm in ILL,...as corrupt and "blue" as it gets. I actually leave the state and cross over into Missouri to have a social life. Once I retire, I'll probably move out of the state completely.

I live in a Purple state.

Life is much more enjoyable without having to deal with people with purple hair, 3 nose rings, and Payday loan stores on every corner.

ASU is a huge major university. Yes PHX has a large retiree population as well as many people who come in seasonally (much like South Florida) to escape winter in Canada, the Midwest & northeast.

There are tons of jobs there in Banking/Finance, healthcare, aerospace and the service industry/hospitality.

There is a fit lifestyle there because you can enjoy outdoor activities year round. It’s like San Diego without the beach that way.

One interesting thing is that nightlife is cheap. Few venues charge a cover, much different than $30 to $50 in Vegas.

Pretty women in great shape of all ages.

No complaints here.

I don't know if the source is reliable. I also do not like sources from that area. This is supposed to be a seducer's board.

I'll share my experiences with Meetup groups. It has been a while since I have attended a Meetup.

In most general social groups, men go to Meetups solely to hit on women. The majority of female attendees are subpar, even compared to what would be available on a swipe app. Every Meetup has 1-2 average to cute women and those women are swarmed by horny, thirsty men. Many of these men are of Indian ancestry, but other races are do the same. For the 1-2 average to cute women, the male-female ratios are Tinder-like. The less attractive women might get some spillover approaches but that's not guaranteed.

Specific activity groups are a little bit better about this but most men in those are looking to get their diccks wet.

Meetup is a waste for most single men looking to make something happen in their woman lives. The talent pool is weak. Most of the average-cute women don't last because they get swarmed by bad attention and dislike it. Also, cute and hot women like to do what's cool and Meetup has never had a cool factor.

I'm in several "singles" meetup groups. I'm an organizer in one of them. One got up to about 6000 members at one point. Their complain is that they can't get enough men. But they do boot men out if they become an annoyance trying to pick up women. But these are always men who are "on the spectrum", socially awkward, creepy, etc. We had one guy as soon as he joined the group went down the members list and pick out all the women he though looked good and PM'ed them saying how he look forward to meeting them and going out with them. I guess he though it was "Online Dating". He was booted before he even made to his first event when a bunch of the women told the head Organizer about it.
