when to phone,txt after getting a txt?

Ok won't go into too much detail but i finally was able to nail my AA last night and approached some girls.
Got shot down by 1 girl who had a friend which was amazing for me seeing how their was 2 of them and not just 1 girl.

the next i got her number and we kissed and danced and said we'd set up a date next week and see how it goes and have fun with it blah blah.

Anyhow she actually phones my phone once i get her number which i found weird, i dunno, maybe it's normal?.

Anyway i get a txt this morning (the day after the night before) saying

Her.Hey it's **** from Jesters that you met last night,how are you? i'm fine thanks *** x

Now usually is'nt it the norm to phone the girl a few days later?...i mean i get a text the next day and don't know how to play the txt thing out....do i wait till tonight or tomorrow to txt or phone back?...

that happenend to me too, except i was at school when it happenend, she asked for my number first and she texted me the next morning, i texted her 10mins later and everything was cool.
but i must say i was not into her that much so i was suttle when i spoke to her, i didnt give off any needy or crazy attention vibe.

To me it sounds like this girl is curious about you, i would text her the same day, dont wait to long.

You are over-analyzing. I realize that between the time you posted this and the time it is now my advice will not be relevant... but really you should have already shot a text back.

People in this day and age have their phones on them non-stop so if you don't respond in the same day you are pretty much just being an arse. No one is fooled these days. Obviously you don't want to be returning her text right away, it might some a little over-eager. But at the very least return her text (or call) the same day.

Finally, it sounds like this chick really digs you and I think it would be hard for you to screw this up this early... she will give you plenty of chances.

if i got a text from a girl i met last night i would probably text right back and start hitting up some "text game" (haha) that im getting pretty good at.

Actually I use texting a lot. Often when I get a girls number I will text her a little later that night or whatever with something funny... keeping her close.

all the wait to call rules are trivial. I say do what you want. You create the rules, not the movie swingers.




...But yeah text her back man. If you are free and not busy at work or something why would you not answer your cell phone? Its a girl... and she clearly wants to suck and fvck some c0ck hahaha get on it!!!!

yeah DoctorLW... You are right it can be kind of tacky not answering your cellphone.

We all have those friends that you can never get a hold of cause they never answer their sh!t... its like they are just lazy (or stoned) sitting at home not wanting to be social.

Throughout the day though I will often throw my cell in my room and not check it for a few just to have some carefree time... But when I have it on me and can answer it, I do... even numbers I don't know.

I'm a super sonic texter too... I can respond back within seconds a pretty lenghty text. hah

and to think, I used to hate texting.

I don't understand why guys fall for the txting crap. Women do it for this exact reason, they can control the conversation, avoid confrontation and pretend they never got your text until later.

Dates shouldn't be set up via txt message. It should be done via phone calls.

(However in this case, I would have recommended ONE reply back immediately because she is a new potential plate. Then immediately moved it to an actual conversation.

Getting sucked into the texting games is so easy for AFCs because they don't like confrontation. They can debate in their mind over hours what to say back. It's not only unhealthy, but it probably will also get you no where with women.

I don't mind texting on occasion, but if you're spending 90% of your communication through text, you're just setting yourself up for failure.
