Sure, but it can also mean that she has something to hold her over until you're ready.

She mentioned another guy that she's seeing ("not seriously") when I first talked to her. That guy has not been mentioned since.

I am going to ask her out tomorrow. She said 'yes' to getting together after my mid-terms the last time we spoke (a while ago -- two weeks) when I brought it up. She went nervous and talked faster than I thought possible.
