How do you answer?

I got blindsided by this one....can't even recall a woman asking me that before. One minute were talking about the new table I bought, the next she hits me with a question like this.

I just told her that I can be at times (actually RARELY, but I wasn't going to tell her that), and joked about it getting hot under the spotlight she was putting on me. She apologized, hehe.

Convo moved on from there, but I think I could have handled it better had I seen it coming.

Yeah, you need to be somewhat evasive on that question. It's a tricky one to answer, I'll grant you that; if she's a quality chick with LTR potential, the "come over to my place and find out" answer would not quite be the ticket. If you're really stuck you can always reply with the same question to her, even if it only buys you a few more seconds to think... Or you could playfully say "I can be, depending on how much the girl inspires it".

The answer to all tough questions is MAYBE!!

She'll get all flirty after you tell her that and start trying to pressure you, but you'll never really have to answer unless she's really *****y. You'll start playfighting, and then have sex.

Just say Maybe!

The best thing to follow up is - what would U define romantic.

Just go on about how many have different views about romance then you ask her how she defines romance.

By this time - she will already have forgotten about her question. If she asks again just twists her words back to her.

"Yeah, I am really romantic. My last girlfrined really loved it on valentines day. Wanna know what i did?

Well after we watched drag-racing on tv, I took her out to burger king and we shared a strawberry milkshake and supersized fries. We both even drank from the same straw -i snt that sweeet?

And then as we drove home, I surprised her by taking a turn into an empty lot behind a old warehouse. I parked next to a dumpster. Then i got out, and pulled something out of the trunk that i bought for her. It was a card and a box of chocolates from Wal-mart.

We mad love right there, on the hood of my Ford Pinto. It was a sweet moment, totally perfect, except for the smell coming from the dumpster. But other than that is was perfect."

I agree with Deezy here, but I think a DJ needs to remember the word "Maybe" and always have it on hand. If you are flustered and don't have a quick, witty response....just say Maybe. If anything, it buys you time.

but the word maybe is a double edged sword.

If u say maybe - it can revoke an aura of mystery but at the same time it might show insecurity as in how u cannot be straight foward.
