All I gotta say is why does it matter, if he had a crappy neg, if it works it works, sometimes chicks are weird like that. I'd hate for the dude to be doing good then change up cause of what some dudes off the net said, then f uck up. I thought the neg was kinda lame too but if it works then whatever Im happy for him. Way too much terminology in this thread for me negs dhv supplication. It may be a crappy neg-hit but calling someone a pedophile is negative none the less. I've said it before and I'll say it again, neg-hits should not be used by anyone unless they really know what they're doing. Most of the time, they're trying to neg at the wrong time thinking it's c/f (like this instance).

In this case, the OP said she called him a baby in a joking sense. Call her a pedo (cradle-robber if the former is too "negative") in the same joking sense, and guage the response for follow-up

it was a good neg hit........the purpose of a neg hit is not to get laid....its to keep the banter up and remain control. Her jaw dropping is THE BENCH MARK reaction you are looking for. The mistake was breaking the silence and appologizing. You could have continued with......whats the matter cats got your tongue. Don't be fizzled by silence.......if a chic gets upset than no way she will ever be able to keep up later on. I said worse and still got laid....maybe not with that chic but the next one. LOL, I got sucked in, not realizing what an old thread it was till the second page, BUT...

I must add that the OP said the absolutely worst thing he could possibly say, because he cemented into her mind the image of "mommy/son", and that creepy image can never be erased, even if it's considered a joke at the time. She will think about it later.

It's a good idea to remember that when delivering a neg, you never want to give her the creeps by painting a weird picture of the dynamic that exists between you both.
