know where your getting this from, but Kimbo/Gannon was a joke, watch PRIDE or something.
The rematch will never happen because it would be stupid. Kimbo lost. He's not that great a fighter. He's an alright boxer. He's basically internet hype and the first Kimbo/Gannon fight proved that.
I say if a rematch occurs, then Gannon should take the kid's gloves off. No more banning kicks, submissions, or ground fighting. Kimbo had all the rules in his favor and still got owned. Why should there be a rematch?

If you cross-train kimbo in ground-fighting/grappling even just a little and build up his stamina he would beat the hell out of Gannon even worse than what he did.
Gannon is slow as molasses!!!!!
If the FACELIFT that Gannon got was superfical I'd hate to see he and Kimbo go at it with kimbo in shape.

Kimbo got whooped by a bottom level UFC fighter Shawn Gannon. Gannon originally wanted a no rules fight, but Kimbo insisted on no kicking and no ground fighting. Had the fight occured under Gannon's rules then it would have lasted less than a minute and Gannon would have walked away without a mark.
A rematch with Kimbo would do nothing for Gannon's career. Gannon had watched Kimbo on the internet and heard all the hype and decided to call "bullsh1t". Gannon used Kimbo to help spring himself into the UFC. he sent the tape of his fight to the UFC and the UFC gave him a shot on pay per view which Gannon lost. Kimbo is nothing more than a street thug who beats up other street thugs for dope money. When pitted against a pro fighter he'll lose every time.

He had knots everywhere, like someone had beat him with a tire-iron or something, he's lucky Kimbo is out of shape or he would be laying up in the hospital in a coma or worse dead!
His punches pack more power than Gannons, like I said with a little training he'd be incredible.
I will post the video so that others who haven't seen it can draw thier own conclusions!

Watchin alot of UFC myself makes me believe Kimbo can manhandle a majority of UFC fighters with his power n boxing skill.
He doesnt let people take him down easy kinda like Chuck Lidell

Kimbo is a drug user. he does speed balls of cocaine before his fights to numb the pain. That's why Kimbo insists on no drug tests before his fights.
