What do you guys interpret this to mean? Are they trying to show their worth to you or not even thinking you are a potential lay? A friend I ended up doing a while back said she always told me sex stories about herself to turn me on while we were at work. Do you believe this to be true in most situations?

I have had women tell me about their birth control status on first dates. Usually, they are mentioning how they are not on it. I dunno how they work it into the convo, 'cuz I sure never ask, but it happens. So, I take that to mean they are thinking about sex, and just letting me know in advance.

Acceptable sex talk falls under, how she likes it done to her and what style she likes best. However once names are mentioned, then she isn't recalling the act of sex but the person she had sex with. Which then means she is still hung up about the other guy and you should next her before you both go shopping for her K-Y Jelly.
That's what I always thought too. This girl actually DID mention names though, so I assumed I have no chance with her, until she asked to come over and we did it. Usually means she like you and is very comfortable or she is just a big ho/slut an does not care...
If a girl is personally telling you about her sex life, it probably means that you are in the friends zone. If she mainly talking to her female friends about her sex life and you happen to be in the clique, then she might be trying to impress you, but you need to look for other IOIs.

Girl I've had sex with in the past e-mailed me today. We went back and forth on a few stupid things, then she tells me she's getting a brazilian wax.
I asked her to show me the end product and she said no. Then I told her to let me know when she dumps her boyfriend and she said maybe.
I think it's a combination of some level of attraction (only girls I've had sex with ever do this with me) and attention wh-ring.
All in all, doesn't mean much, but I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing.
