I'm sorry... sometimes I forget to put an emphasis on things.
Unless you have the feeling that your girlfriend may have oral herpes... there is no reason to wear a condom whilst having oral sex.
I have taken a sexuality class or two to know that although you can receive sexually transmitted diseases from oral sex the chances of that occurring are very small for two main reasons.
1. Many sexually transmitted diseases do not make the transition to the saliva of the mouth (if that was the case... we all may have sexually transmitted diseases by now). Excluding the rare strainds of these viruses... most of them are not communable throught the mouth of the saliva.
2. The conditions required for catching a sexual transmitted disease from oral sex are so extreme, that it is almost impossible. One... the girl would have to have some sort of lesions in her mouth, and you on your ****... and
even then the chances of catching a sexually transmitted disease from her is still very small. Simply because (contrary to popular urban myths and uninformed opinions) you need a good amount of exposure to the disease in order to catch it... because the viruses are not "active" (communable) all the time... sometimes they are dormant and are not spread... other times they are not.
With that in mind... if it makes you that nervous... make a trip to the clinic and have each other tested (does not cost that much)... if not... then leave off the condom because even most of the flavored ones do not taste good and from what I have heard... you may as well not engage in oral sex if you are going to wear a condom.
Everybody does it... its just that nobody talks about it.
