When does No Contact become Never Contact?

It's been 22 days of NC but I still think about her. She contacted me but only 3 times, the last being 12 days ago when she wished me a happy Easter. I didn't reply to any of her attempts.

In contrast, in our first 22 days after meeting she contacted me no less than 400 times.

I wonder if, at this point, it's a lost cause. Has anyone ever gone longer with NC and actually had the girl come back to you?

I have posted this before on this site: NC was NEVER a method to get a girl to come back to you.

It is a method to get YOU, if you couldn't handle interactions with the girl without harming yourself or reverting to an AFC, to get away from her.

Sometimes the girl gets curious as to why you've disappeared but this does not translate into increased interest or sexual attraction like many forum members believe.

I don't know your who situation since you only posted vague details, but if she was only interested in you as a friend and nothing else, you going NC is probably not doing anything other than making her curious why her friend dropped off the map.

We were never friends. When we met she said it was love at first sight and she wanted me to sweep her off her feet. We had an amazing romance. It was LDR though, and I probably treated her too nice to compensate for the distance.
