Today some junkie asked for 60 cents. I told him no and went into a 'coffeeshop'. Outside again, he spit on me. I was thinking: why would I beat up someone like that. Later I thought that response was based on fear. What is your personal boundary?

It is in your posture, abitlity to make and keep eye contact, and the way you carry yourself.
All signs of a confident person.

If you carry yourself like you truly are NOT afraid then most people will assume you are not afraid.
If you can actually be physically imposing, in that you have a strong , atheltic looking physique, most people will not necessarioy challenge your credibilty or lack thereof.

It does help to actually go out there and TRAIN in Self Defense though, don't be a freakin' Poseur ,dude!
All fakery CANNOT replace actual TRAINING time.

i dunno, once you live and sleep on the street and beg for money, you loose all self respect and you really do not have a lot of other things to loose by losing your temper.
you on the other hand, have a home to go home to and a job to pay your bills.

sometimes bad luck happens, and it is not always someone's fault that they end up on the street.

When I was in my teens and twenties, I was a wild one. Maybe 50+ fights.

In my thirties, I cooled down.

Ill give you an example. One of my workers quit today. When he quit he tried to EXTORT more money for his paycheck threatening to tell my clients not to do business with me.

I could have easily split this guys head open. The coward would probably have ran to the cops and pressed charges.

So like in the movies, someone else split his head open. I do not condone this behavior but I don't gamble with my LIVLIHOOD. Everything else , no big deal.

If it was any one respectable, I would handle it accordingly.
