When did SoSuave become an authoritarian state?

Are some people on this forum so unable to deal with the fact that not everyone agrees with their opinions, that they can only throw insults and unfounded accusations at folks? And all in an attempt to silence people who dont parrot their opinion.

I ask this because it really does seem like we even have a mod or two who do not follow the forum rules AtomSmasher just reposted regarding member behavior. Do see the attitude and insults thrown at people in this thread who did not agree with the OP. Yet, there exists a mod who wants to accuse members with differing opinions of behavior that is a bannable offense. Is this not hypocrisy? Is this not merely an attempt to silence those who think differently?

I mean jeezus, some people need to learn to have a debate with someone and leave the personal insults and emotions on the side. And it gets really childish when myself or other members have these same immature posters leaving them insulting reputation feedback.

Sure you can leave negative feedback. Im all for it. But the 5th grade insults are pretty sad. Are some folks here that emotionally tied to their opinions? I accept that many here dont believe everything I believe, but I dont go off and start insulting them without reason. Im sure more of us are adults here.

Wheres the evidence of this? It was merely an accusation thrown around by a bitter mod who couldnt handle the fact that more than 1 poster disagreed with him. First it was that the new member was a sock account for me or SocialLeper, then he went off the deep end saying 4 accounts were all the same person.

Lets be realistic here. Moderators arent doing their job on this forum. And we even have a mod or two not following the forum rules, yet member are expected to follow them? Thats why I mentioned hypocrisy in my original post. All I ever see if people insulting someone when they offer a differing viewpoint. And if that doesnt work, they make accusations about multiple accounts. This isnt the first time Ive seen it occur here.

And its really laughable that me and SocialLeper would be the same person, seeing as we have very different views on several topics. We agree on something in one thread, and someone throws around the sock account accusation? Come on now.

Gaylan is definitely not Social Leper. I don't think Gaylan is physically capable of writing a sentence without using the word "butthurt" in it. I don't recall ever seeing Social Leper use that phrase.

Here's what's going on in my mind... You are in constant battles with several people here. Why is that? Most members here are not. Some are very opinionated, and yet they are not attracting strife.

IMO much of what your detractors are saying is inappropriate, but I still question why you, the common denominator, are attracting all these battles.

For me its not about Jaylan's opinions or general whiny attitude. I have rarely but heads with him in any threads. Sometimes he actually makes decent points.

For me.. its about changing the site into something its not. This isn't a G-rated, Micky Mouse, Utopia website. Its "red pill". Its about the harsh realities of the real world and human nature.

What drew me to this site was its abundant straight talk and lack of sugar-coating. This is why SoSuave is one of the few great places for REAL men and those who aspire to be real men.

Fagging up this site starts with a few beta's complaining. Then you get overly sensitive beta moderators. Next thing you know--> SoSuave becomes LoveShack.

Its a slippery slope.

Soviet Union was a state in which Russia thought and cared for other states, and you know who first left Soviet Union? Russia. It would have never been possible under collectivism, it required individualism.

Individualism stinks, it makes people not respect other people, in life, in business, on the road, in person. Individualism leads to issues, like the one you described.

What can you do?

You can realize that the people around you are mostly immature and you have grown past them. At this point you have to make a choice of how to live your life.

The type of ideology we choose mostly depends on what is popular. Blue pill cool aid mainstream mostly individualism, red pill collectivism. Don't let the sheep mentality opinion of the main stream religious fanatics stop you from disseminating the red pill truth. Me me me me, all about me, f'ck you all, is wrong.
