Generally, yes. Almost impossible. Even if she regains interest, things will never be quite the same.

The only way to accomplish this is to go NC and see if she comes crawling back. If she doesn't, there was nothing under the sun you could have done to save it. NC is the ultimate proving tool.

I have not found a way to really reverse things when her interest is slipping.

Reducing contact or going no contact for a time can help a bit. Dating other women can help too sometimes, but neither is a magic bullet guaranteed to work.

She will either miss you and/or be jealous and thus want you back, or she won't give a F either way.

Yeah that's what I figured. I have had it happen to me many times. It's like a little switch just flips in their brains. I don't think guys really work like that.

And often they'll lose interest for some stupid reason. I think as guys it takes quite a lot for us to lose interest in a girl we once thought was hot. For them it can be some silly little thing. ****s.

The important thing to remember is "Don't get dumped".

We men have a tendency to wait forever when all the signs are there and then are shocked when she lowers the boom.

If there's anything I've learned in my 54 years on this planet it's that when you suspect something is wrong, something IS wrong. If she is losing interest you need to spring into action and recover the frame. That means withdrawing attention. That is the ONLY thing that most women respond to.

When you withdraw attention, she is forced to get off her high horse and re-evaluate how she really feels about the relationship.

Women survive getting dumped much better than men do, in general. They cry it out, blab to their friends about it ad nauseum, and move on. We guys tend to internalize it and it's a slow burn-off. So the moral of the story is whatever you do, don't get dumped. Be aware at all times and if you see her losing interest, be proactive and take ownership of the dynamic.

I totally agree on both points. You can usually sense when her interest is waning and it's a good idea to trust your instinct. Unfortunately a lot of us try to make excuses and put a positive spin on it, believing she's playing hard to get, she's busy or she's afraid to fall in love or something like that. Those reasons are almost never true.

The "problem" with these men is that they realize women are human beings too with "real" feelings and have no intention in hurting women emotionally.

Having gone through a ton of girls in the past several years, I'm all too familiar with the evolution from the infatuation stage to the loss-of-interest stage.

There comes a time when you have to move on. Recognize that, and more importantly, embrace it. For the brief span of time you were with the girl, it was great. Accept the fact that now it's time to move on. There really is no point in trying to "win" her back.

It comes down to delusions of grandeur, if a girl's interest is waning, then I get the hell out of the situation.

When I go NC with a girl it's usually for good, I have a short tolerance level as it is and if I feel she has exhausted this level beyond any doubt then I am very reluctant to get back into the mix, so to speak.

Call me high maintenance if you will, but I spent most of my teenage years being messed around by women, I'm not spending my twenties repeating the same cycle.
