theres a girl im kinda seeing now...

last night while we were out she asked me about my dating past and i was tempted to throw out the "whats your type of guy" question..but ive heard its not a good idea to ask that

Being someone's "type" doesn't gaurentee anything. And besides, I've liked girls that werent my type because they were cool.

The most important thing you should remember is that her type of guy currently is you because she's going out with you so as of current you as her type. Her real type might've been someone else, but it changes as she experiences more and more in life.

its not bad if her type isnt you, actually on the 2nd date with my GF, who is currently crazy about me, she said to me she deosnt like white guys, she really likes dark skinnned latinos, or black guys.


Im not completely white, but i have light skin, so it deosnt matter if ur her type or not as long as she likes u.

Never ask that question. It is never good, whether she describes you or not. As soon as you ask that question, you are put into the ljbf category. Trust me, experience (or lack thereof) is where I learned this reaction.

Excellent advice Centurion. Girls are ficle, what they say and think changes constantly. By asking this, you are setting yourself up for disappointment. She is going out with you, isn't she?

This is where the movie Hitch is right, at the beginning when Hitch says that it is"Your job not to screw it up." She has for whatever reasons agreed to go into a relationship of a higher relationship with you, so leave it at that. 'nuff said.
