I see AD's point...You must always be closing, but I cant recomened that using "Whats your phone number" when there are so many better ways. I usually say, "What steps would we have to take to continue this later?"

Find out HER process for getting to know people. She might skip all the number BS and tell you to come straight over to her house!

Ryan your scaring me. I NEVER spend more than 15-25 min with a girl the first time I meet her. There is no way the girl would feel threatened if your conveying your personality right. Men pursuing women is a natural thing, and I think by NOT going for the number or a kiss you are telling her that she is out of your league and you dont think you could land her.
