what's worse? "I'm a sperm donor" or "I don't have a job"

unemployed is worse... hey, at least if you say your a sperm donor, you can ask if they'd care for a free sample!!!
all jokes aside, for the moment... seriously, the tests to become a sperm donor are pretty stringent... both mental ( IQ ) and physical, along with stict drug testing policies, not to mention STD's.... IF that is really what you do, then I'd start by saying that you work for a "fertility clinic" which isn't lying, not in the least... many women would find it an attractive thing, after they get to know you a little, since you're helping families have children that cant on their own. Its "noble" in its own way... and they will at least know that you are disease free, and drug free...
then as you get to know the chic, then maybe tell her you spooge into cups for money.... heheh...just kidding. seriously, though, how'd you land that job, I'm curious and serious, I've been interested in getting into that type of thing.. I've gone to college, and am in perfect health...I hear its pretty good money, and Its a job any man could enjoy... hell I do ( well sometimes my girl helps!) all the "work" now for free anyway, it seems like such a waste for me to destroy all the product though...

Here's how I got into it. I'm in college and I found out that theres a sperm bank near campus. They'll schedule anyone who is interested, but of course they don't accept everyone. The weed out process starts with you providing them with two samples. They freeze and thaw the samples then run a few tests (sperm count and motility) if you meet their minimum standards then you are initially accepted into the program. You then have to fill out about 20 pages of paperwork, get tested for STDs, get a physical from a doctor, and interview with a genetic counselor. If after this they decide that they want you as a donor, you'll be paid $40-55 per sample that you provide. They want you to go at least 6 times per month.

yeah, I'm pretty sure theres a clinic in Atlanta, I've checked into it before... it's pretty tough to be selected...
seriously, thanks for the info... I'm gonna look into it... and sorry about the cheap shots... I still think I'd approach it with the "fertility clinic worker" job... it makes you sound like you're in the medical field, and have a career...also with you being in College, it makes it seem like you're in an apprentiship(sp?) program.... it also shows chics that you're into helping others, lotsa ladies are into that kind of selflessness... I'd definitely not bring up the sperm donor thing until after a few dates...
