Don't you realize that it's a lot easier for a girl to get sex than a man to? In most cases, it's usually said that men that are rich get first round draft pick. Most men don't even have girlfriends or wives, so they end up working more hours trying to maximize their earnings and being miserable.

Women are the ones who choose men these days.
the first paragraph is 100% true, I agree completely. However I don't think that last sentence is completely true, maybe only true 70-80% of the time.

So i guess we're seeing alot of women choose the same man.

That is very true.

If one guy is doing 5 girls, and each girl is only seeing him, that means that there are 4 guys who aren't getting any. The whole goal of this site is to be that 1 guy doing the 5 girls.

BTW the girls don't really "choose" the guy. They might choose not to be with lesser men, but their attraction for the alpha male isn't a choice.

Wow... a whole thread of defeatists. With attitudes like this, it's no wonder some of you aren't getting laid. I was 18 when I lost mine. I'm a geek, I'm average looking and at the time had little game. All I had was a good sense of humor and decent social skills with friends and acquaintances.

I can respect the pregnancy and std approach, although. The way the guy explained it earlier it sounded like he was a little obsessive about not getting a girl knocked up.

I think the guy that posted at first was right, They missed the boat and they have to swim the rest of the way. It messes up your confidence when you dont lose it and every other guy in HS is talking about how they are getting laid.

I lost mine when I was 15(when I moved to Kentucky of all places), and alot of my friends in HS that I thought were scoring were just lieing about it. My best friend just told me 3 months ago that he is a still a virgin, and he is 26 and he was one of those guys saying he was getting tail every night.

Theres no shame in it, I think alot of people just make it a choice. But I think a majority of people just can't get laid.

Like the ones that replied to abstaining on this site.

!!!! WHY DID YOU JOIN A SITE DEDICATED TO PICKING UP WOMEN WHEN YOU ARE ABSTAINING FROM SEX?!!!!!!!!

Thats the big question. It just seems a little weird. I think there are just trying to justify why they are still virgins. JMHO

I think you guys got some things right but are missing one of the big factors in the high virgin rate among males which is.....TECHNOLOGY!

computers, internet, video games, porn etc etc etc. 25 to 30 years ago there was not a computer in every home i'm not sure if there was even a personal computer back 30 years. Guys either went out of the house or what else could they do? watch tv all day? that was their main option. Now a days guys don't have to get out of the house for fun. They can stay home and browse the net, watch youtube, play video games etc etc. Why go thru the trouble of chasing girls when they can just stay in their home and wack off to porn? that is the life story of countless afcs right there.

technology has brought plenty of life wasting and easy to get into hobbies that have kinda replaced the free time men used to have that was meant for being out of the house or chasing women. Guys are just not as desperate anymore it seems as there is plenty of things they can do to waste their free time on.

I already told the story about how my current pretty clearly offered sex when we were first getting to know eachother. I said no, and not just with actions, it was a verbal conversation. I would think this defeats your "you just can't" statements.

Now to answer the motive question:

I joined the site to improve my overall game/understanding of women. I don't see what sex really has to do with that. The art of attraction, goals, humor... etc, all are things equally relevant to a relationship before, during, and after sex.

Maybe I'll change my mind in the future, but for now I just don't see the risk/benefit calculus making much sense.

You here to learn the finer points of :The art of attraction, goals, humor.

All those things are relevant before after and during, but sex is a basic human need from which all those things are tied too, and in the event of a serious long term sexless relationship, those things would become irrelevant without the intimacy and closeness of a sexual relationship. We are very sexual creatures; becoming more attractive, having goals and being funny are driven by a subconscious urge to attract a woman/mate, whether you realize it or not. You do those things to 'impress'. It's pretty cut and dried.

I'm not ripping you for abstaining. Its just hard for me to understand. Why become more appealing to women, when that will only put you in situations that are going to tempt you? It just seems like its defeating your purpose. I have friends that are abstaining for sex for many reasons, and I respect that and I'm not saying that you can't have a relationship without sex, because you can, but there is usually an understanding of sex at some point.

But with the crazy talk and percentages about pregnancy and STD's. It sounds like one of those homers from the Health Department came to your school and scared to **** out of you with statistics. JMO though. I dont have a problem with you abstaining, its just kind of odd that you would pick this community to join, and choose to be a virgin when thats the opposite thinking of almost every member here.

Its like you have worked for a whole summer, bought a nice car. But your not going to drive it because 7% of car wrecks end with fatalities...

Anyway...good luck to you man, Your alot braver than me, I know I couldn't do it. I hope you dont have to find out that alot of women will go elsewhere to fulfill those needs if you aren't prepared to give it to them at some point.

He's not braver than you, he's chicken****. If you're not abstaining for religious reasons or because of some moral belief you otherwise hold, I have to say you're firstly misinformed and secondly selfish for not sharing yourself with your girlfriend. Sex is part of a healthy relationship, it brings two people together as close as they can be. You really don't want to get into a marriage and find out she just can't please you or vice versa... that's not to say you can't if you try, I believe that most people can adapt to be good with their partners... but there's always a small percentage that can't and it will ruin a marriage no ifs ands or buts.

That all said, if your girl was on BC and you used a condom there is almost no chance of her getting pregnant... it calculates out to .005% chance of pregnancy after a year of perfect use (most BC pills are about 99.75% effective with perfect use and condoms are 98%). And, if you both get tested and stay faithful there will be no STD's being passed from you to her or her to you.
