Has anybody seen recently that Walmart has closed 5 locations and the military has taken them over?? I would just like to know what you guys think of this situation. We can talk about chicks all day long, but building military bases out of walmarts gets a little freaky!! Do some google searches and let me know your thoughts please!!

Yeah I read about that, something about building underground bases under the stores to keep prisoners … Do not believe everything you read…

Everyone is shopping online so some shops are shutting down.

The way I'm reading this is that they closed down 5 locations across the U.S. all in one day and all with the same "plumbing problem" excuse. They say they will all reopen in 6 months. According to a bunch of sources, those walmarts are now loaded with military vehicles. Actually was just wondering if this was true or just a hoax.

I don't remember the last time I shopped at Walmart. Ever since they got rid of their variety of name brand clothing and replaced it all with that George 5hit, I've been shopping elsewhere.

I agree with mangotot. Online sales is effecting them so they close some less
Profitable stores. Probably the corporate
Pride of the countrys largest retailer explains the bs plumbing excuse.

From what I've read, they closed those stores to offset the rise in wages they recently announced for all workers.

The "plumbing" thing was just a ruse to let them shut them down without through the legal hassle when big companies like that close down stores. By claiming it's some kind of "safety issue" they can circumvent those laws.

As far as those particular stores, I've also read those were hit pretty heavy by workers protesting in recent years for higher wages, which is why they chose them.

No conspiracies, no secret fema camps. Just a big corporation throwing their weight around to save money, and secretly giving the finger to their workers.
