6'5" 240 sounds better than 6'5" 205, but girls say I look a lot better when I'm the latter. I think it's mainly that the weight or leanness shows in our jaw line. Girls can probably tell our body fat even if we have a suit on, the same way makeup on a woman doesn't (always) fool us.

Besides, I've seen the pictures guys post here, and half the guys who say they are "jacked" really aren't.

I have one friend who is genuinely "jacked" and it doesn't do much to help him get women. Like many bodybuilding types he's actually pretty insecure around and it shows when he talks to them.

Besides what most women want is a man who's simply fit and not a total couch potato, not a guy who looks like a comic book character. There have been many studies on this.

Totally agree. Sometimes I wonder if I'm living on another planet as some of these guys. Maybe that's the way it rolls in the trailer park or something. Personally, I avoid scuzzy girls like the plague.

Yeah, from the stories around here you'd think every other woman was this way. Of course if all you do is hang out in the places the trashy broads like to hang out in then that is what you'll see most of the time.

Guys with the mouthpiece might get laid. Game and personality doesn't make you any more physically or financially appealing in the eyes of women. Ambition doesn't either.

Guys with the mass social network and status have a better chance of being laid. Guys with all of these get laid the easiest.

Yea ive noticed the same. Girl seem to want a guy whose got some definition/not scrawny, but things like height and face seem to matter more. Bulk is honestly more for intimidating or other guys(and maybe attracting faggots). The meatheads I know fall in two groups. First is regular guys who gain confidence from their physique. They do above avg to very well with ladies. The 2nd are socially awkward oafs who thing looking like arnold will make girls swarm the. They get all butthurt and disillusioned when this doesnt happen. It's all well and good to try to get ripped because confidence doesn't come from thin air. we need something to take pride in, but dont use it as a crutch.

Where the heck do you guys find these low life girls? I've probably met three of these "bang muscle dudes use whimpy guy" chicks in my entire life and they were all seriously failures in their own way.

The only girls I date or converse with are in similar backgrounds as myself. They're smart and come from descent backgrounds. Dare I say it, well mannered and mature?

There are descent women out there. Just have to be in a descent position to find them.

I found them up north. Not too many down here.

Realistically, I think its a matter of attracting what you are. Looking back with a clear mind, I can safely say I was a loser with shallow standards who tried projecting my issues onto others (ie, saving the damsel in distress to hide my own craziness and misery). These girls HAVE to be dysfunctional to be this way. All the ones I knew were. But hey, I sought after them specifically because they had issues. That just glued me to them. "Oh, you like *******s; are miserable and crazy; have 5 kids from 5 different guys; own 20 cats; avoid nice guys; have some STDs; go to bars and parties to get drunk and ****; and will make my life a living hell?" Sign me up! :trouble:

I might have viewed myself as the nice guy savior, but I was really just crazy, and could relate to these dysfunctional people in so many ways. As well, the feelings they provided. A lot of self-abuse through other people.

I don't think enough people realize the role they play in associating, or getting involved with these degenerates. Usually there's some core issues at work. Some people are simply crazy, and love the drama. But it always comes back to them, and their issues. That's why some people date nothing but losers (and complain about them constantly) - while others avoid them like a plague (and don't complain). It all comes back to their choices and lifestyles. They're at the center of all of it.

As for the OP: I don't think women are attracted to as many masculine traits as people believe. Some guys who land women are pretty damn girly. But you see all these women wishing gay guys weren't gay - while still acting girly. They can relate to these things. A lot of men these days aren't the rugged tough guys of old. Now you have all these skinny, girly men with the same looks, attitudes, sensitivities, etc as women. They're even spending more time getting ready and looking in mirrors than women do.

Even beyond that, most attractive guys I know are not built well. They're usually skinny, and of reasonable height at best. But they still get women - due to their natural looks. That's all that matters to a lot of people. After that comes everything else.

But certainly, not all women want the tall, dangerous, tough, muscular guys. Very few of them actually do, and they're usually *****es anyway.
