Some lame excuses I recieved via txt for cancelling

"Sorry I'm kinda tired"

"I've been so busy I forgot"

"I'm not feeling that well" (ok this one could be true)

I got in a fight with my roommate. The fight was so bad I am moving out. I just want you to know it had nothing to do with you.

(This excuse came three or four days later after I had to ASK.)

I was dating this chick for about 3 weeks and all of a sudden she up and flaked on me. Keep in mind, this particular girl approached me, struck up a conversation, and gave me her number. NEVER DATE GIRLS WHO APPROACH....TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR OWN DESTINATION!

Tristan, my old boyfriend is going through a hard time, his best friend died. He needs me and i want to help him make it through this tough time. I need space, your a great guy, it's totally not you. If this didn't come up, things would be different.

Me: Oh ok, i totally understand. HE does need you...blah...blah..more sappy afc talk, etc.

Being a stupid naive AFC, i actually believed her and e-mailed her some AFC letter about what a great time i had hanging out with her..blah...blah...blah.

When i would see her on campus, she acted like she had no clue who i was!

BUMP

Just remembered another one:

HER: 'I'm not feeling too well so can't make the date'
ME: (mentally 'nexting') 'Oh ok. Well stay in and rest - have some chicken soup!'
HER: 'Yes - this guy I've been seeing is bringing some round tonight'
ME: Great! Bye then!

LOL this thread just gets better! I remember another one:

'I thought I was over my last relationship but now I've realised I'm not'.

Two weeks later she was 'over' it enough to be going out with someone else!

How about this one, on the 4th date:

"How can I offer you something when I don't know who I am?"

I'll give her credit though, she did pay for dinner...
