I don't know man... I thought Lateralus was pretty good, but I didn't enjoy it as much as Aeinma and the new CD. A lot of people I've talked to are on the fence with the new CD, but personally I ****ing love it.

I will agree with you though when you talked about rock music. They're not too many 'Rockstars' anymore... just a bunch of people playing music with guitars and drums.

It's not that I don't like a lot of the new ****, because I do, but 'rock' in the traditional sense (Kiss, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd and bands of that ilk come to mind) is dying rapidly.

No bullsh!ttin ' it took me over a dozen full listens of 10,000 Days to fully appreciate what Maynard and the boys set out to accomplish. NOONE is a bigger Toolhead than I and with each release thier progression is monumental. It's not what people expect and that's the beauty of it. With Metallica or Pink Floyd or Boston you have a pretty good idea what you're in for. Tool you have no fvcking idea until it punches you in your face and wakes you up.

Oh, the new Tool record is the only cd I've purchased in 5 years (since Lateralus).

Jeez, I'm big into electronica, but even I dig tool.

I didn't like Lateralus at first either, at least not as much as Aenima. But the more I listened to Lateralus, the more I realized that I liked Aenima so much because I listend to it a buh-zillion times more than Lateralus. Eventually, I began to like them the same. It takes a few listenings to really pick their stuff apart and get into it.

New Tool CD eh? I live in a cave since I stopped listening to worthless radio. I'll have to go out and grab the new CD.

Tool was the best concert I've ever been to, hands down. They do not water down their music live. Some friends and I had smoked a bunch of opium right before, intensifying the experience.

Question authority, think for yourself... Complete Excellence is the best way to describe that show.

Just bought the Raconteurs' new album, Broken Boy Soldier. If you enjoy Jack White, you'll love it. Finally the Man gets a real band behind him.
