No bullsh!ttin ' it took me over a dozen full listens of 10,000 Days to fully appreciate what Maynard and the boys set out to accomplish. NOONE is a bigger Toolhead than I and with each release thier progression is monumental. It's not what people expect and that's the beauty of it. With Metallica or Pink Floyd or Boston you have a pretty good idea what you're in for. Tool you have no fvcking idea until it punches you in your face and wakes you up.The Antichrist_Star said:I don't know man... I thought Lateralus was pretty good, but I didn't enjoy it as much as Aeinma and the new CD. A lot of people I've talked to are on the fence with the new CD, but personally I ****ing love it.
I will agree with you though when you talked about rock music. They're not too many 'Rockstars' anymore... just a bunch of people playing music with guitars and drums.
It's not that I don't like a lot of the new ****, because I do, but 'rock' in the traditional sense (Kiss, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd and bands of that ilk come to mind) is dying rapidly.

Oh, the new Tool record is the only cd I've purchased in 5 years (since Lateralus).
