when you're in a healthy, steady relationship? The only sex I had was one hit deals. I never dated a girl and had sex with her on a regular basis. Meaning I never had a girlfriend, slept over her house or vice versa, and had sex with the same girl hundreds of times. I don't enjoy one night stands which is why I don't even bother with clubs/bars.

So, if you're dating someone exlusively right now, how often do you have sex with her? Do you find it more satisfying than hooking up with someone at a party?

When I'm dating a girl we usually have sex 2-3 times a week (that's 2-3 sessions and not 2-3 cvms on my part).

I can't say if it's better or worse than a ONS, that depends on the individual. But it's nice being with someone in an 'intimate' situation which isn't just sex but is hanging out naked, taking a shower together etc. Of course you can do that with a ONS, but it's not nearly as comfortable.

I'm married now but when I was single....

I always noticed that in casual encounters things were always rather mechanical and 'tight lipped' unless she was really relaxed and comfortable with herself. Most women aren't their most comfortable in a ONS unless they are raging drunk and then it's usually a blur anyway.

In an LTR, you can talk dirtier, do more adventurous things in the bedroom and just all around be yourself with that person because you are more comfortable.

Maybe other's experiences were different.

Overall, I'd say in a relationship it's better in terms of quality.

I haven't been with anybody in years and those situations were all "controlled" and not really "real." They didn't feel right.

Every day I wonder what it's like to bring a girl to my apartment and go through the steps to have sex with her.

I can't imagine what it's like to have regular sex with somebody.

Sounds like you have a case of " the grass is greener" mentality. Trust me, as long as you have food, have shelter, have your passions goals and hobbies, have decent people around you. You're okay where you are for the time being.

Theres thousands of married men that envies your situation right now. While you on the other hand seems to fall in the category of men "wanting his soul mate".

There's nothing wrong with that. But I think you should not place that as your number 1 priority or you will reek desperation.

hmm from my experiance I've had out of the 16 girls i've f*cked, 9 were ONS. and i was drunk in all of those lol so it was a blur. Sometimes I'd do it again with those same woman so I dont even know if to consider it ONS. it was still great but not as good as it is to be in a relationship and getting some.

As said you feel much more comfortable with a girl you're with when it comes down to it you unlike when you're with someone you don't know at all. With my most recent ex I would do it about 9 to 13 times a week for a year xD it was pretty damn awesome if you ask me. than she would go down on me without me asking. it was great. kinda miss it. :woo:

Generally it is better because of the comfort level. There is a certain anxiety when youre just hooking up. You arent quite sure what is ok and what is not...everyone has their own little quirks when it comes to sex.

For women LTR sex is better because of the emotional connection. Men can separate sex and their emotions much easier so this isnt as a big of a factor for us.

I think what you're really looking is for the bond. Pus*sy is pus*sy. Some may be a little tighter and wetter, but it's basically the same no matter if you have a ring on her finger or you just met her at a bar. You wear it out, make it a little looser, and its the same everytime. The thing that makes it better in a relationship is that you know the person and you can laugh about something afterwards. But truthfully, don't worry about it. Relationships can be great, but you'll have to put work in to really get some of the same stuff you used to. When you find one worth it, make her see stars a couple times and she'll stick around.

It was years between the current GF and the last one... so I really don't remember too much, the first one was more of an FWB situation and we were both highly inexperienced. Sex was a fun 5 minutes and she rarely came.

The current GF... as we've gotten to know each other the sex has been getting better every time. I also have a good idea of what will make her *** during a session and we can go anywhere from 15-45 minutes depending on our mood... the only point being to enjoy the closeness it brings. I've been getting laid on average probably 3 times a day when I see her... so maybe 9-12 times a week.

Agreed. When I was 16, I drove my 15 y/o girlfriend to the government health clinic and bought her birth control pills. I have never used condoms since, although obviously I don't disagree that they are a smart idea for women you don't know that well yet. Going without one, however, is the real difference with being in a LTR.

Beyond that, you experiment more in a LTR because the girl gets more comfortable with opening up to you. You kind of have to keep pushing the experimentation, or else it will all inevitably get boring.

It's good because your with someone you can trust and of course it feels alot more relaxed to be with them and you get to cuddle up, kiss and **** .. but at the same time I miss the excitement of ONSs, sex in a relationship can become really boring after a while.
