What's life like in a major city

I live in Nashville and I've always wanted to live in an Alpha city like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Atlanta, Houston, NYC, and DC. Any of y'all live in these cities? My work won't likely re-locate me to these cities so eventually I'll have to set paths with it.

I've been to all of those cities (and lived in the boldface ones, all in the past 5 years)

Los Angeles - Lots of hot, friendly but shallow and broken women (if you think strippers are bad, try dating washed up actresses).
San Francisco - Avoid Man Francisco and Man Jose if you are single. Women will say "as if"! Plus, your car will get towed and it will cost $800 to get it out of the impound, and your boss will keep you late and you'll walk to get the car if you want to make your flight. I did date three bikini models from Santa Clara (sporty's) circa 2013-2014.
Seattle - Only spent one day, didn't meet any women. Spokane nearby was teeming with beautiful women.
Atlanta - Lots of women who live with men and lots of black women. Dated three women who rated 99 from Atlanta.
Houston - The bars are dead but the strip clubs are full of the hottest strippers I've ever met. They will attack you and come home with you and are actually desperate. Dated my first few strippers there 2011-2012. (Austin and Dallas have the hottest women in the US imo).
NYC - the women are tomboyish (or foreign) and faithful to their men (so they are harder to pick up). I lived with two gorgeous Russian women there 2013. One still loves me.
DC - Only drove through. So much traffic you literally are at a standstill 90 miles away. It's super expensive so I would imagine the women there are the gold digger types.

If you don't have MONEY, don't even THINK about living in NYC, DC, SF or LA. Drinks at bars cost double digits.

SF is a sausagefest like @bigneil said. Its also full of nerds.

NYC probably has the best variety but money matters if you want options. NYC is materialistic and fashion conscious. LA is more about looks in terms of physical beauty and being in shape, plus money. DC is more about job title and education plus MONEY of course. If you're broke in DC and can't pronounce large words like "anti-disestablishmentarianism" you'll stay dateless.

I actually like Nashville. Especially East Nashville. Personally I'd pick it over all your options save Seattle.

Good breakdown. I agree with this but I should add that New York it's even more expensive than DC.

Don't take this the wrong way OP but you're not really made for life in these cities given your mindset. It takes a very competitive spirit to survive and something special to get decent women there. If you cannot score in Nashville (regardless of race, I even had an Indian friend that cleaned up with southern girls there so you can't even blame your race now because So Suave says Indians have it the worst), you will not score in NYC where the competition is insane.

Life in cities is expensive and costly but if you want to extend your adolescence by 10 or 20 years, it is well worth it.

I've been to Miami and I got the impression that I have to be a 20 millionaire or pretend I'm one to date there. Plus, Florida is a boring state lol. Austin, I have literally no desire to go to Texas except for Houston and that's even low on my list lol.

If you are struggling to find good work in big cities, focus on fixing that part of your life instead of crying on so suave.

As for life in big cities, it is YOUR worst nightmare. Women are extremely hypergamous, everything is expensive, race relations suck, a ton of phony liberals that pretend to like minorities but really hate them, tough competition for the few attractive women that exist, the game is rigged, and usually trust fund boys/millionaires get the hottest girls while rest of everyone struggles.

There's also lots to do and a really high minimum wage thats going up to $15 by 2019

I was in Barcelona a few days ago and since I was a tourist myself I met a shyteload of American travellers, who I would never meet here in Amsterdam in my local bubble.
But anyway,
They all told me they thought Europe was so much better than any city in the US regarding women.
So why won't you try to come over here to Europe?
You will be seen as an interesting exotic species and obesity is rare here, most women are hot.

I live here, the majority of the women in the places where you should be looking for women are not ugly.

for example, only old people are in the YMCA that I work at, you know, at 12PM on a monday, however if you go to a cafe near a college in uptown, you're gonna see some beauties

The under appreciated part about NYC is that 23 million people live in the area and you don't actually have to live there to bone the women. There's 3 commuter rail lines, ferries, and bus from all the way out in PA. It's the best online dating market in the world. There is literally infinite women in NYC. You're bound to find one.

AND most people assume NYC means Manhattan and Manhattan = $$$ which is true. However, there is also Brooklyn, Queens and New Jersey that are filled with young professionals who are living in very affordable places.

I agree to an extent.

for those who may not know, cheapest you'll find a 1 bedroom for in NYC is $1000/month, possibly including utilities assuming you're willing to live what may or may not be the hood(it's a gamble).

if you want a pretty good neighborhood, $1000 or $1200 on a studio, yes a studio.

so that should give an idea of what NYC prices are like

2 bedrooms are like, $1500-$2000 depending on whether you'd rather live with rich white people or tyrone the crack dealer as a neighbor

note: I haven't checked apartment prices in like 2 years
