Or alternately if you were to take a year off from work, what would you do to meet hot women all over the world (and i don't mean just go travel the world and go to different bars).

Anything that requires travelling. You can even try teaching ESL if you are young. Lots of annoyingly liberal fresh out of college kids who think they are saving the world do this. But if you find good positions with not many other expat teachers, they can be ignored for the most part.

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.

Why would you pick a career based off of meeting women? The warning of doing this has been preached for years now. What do you like to do? Inspired to do?

I agree. The mindset is a road that leads straight to poverty / mediocrity. You can waste a lot of your life thinking like this.

Teaching English not only brings in a few bucks, but gives the man a reason that isn't "I'm a schlub that can't attract his own countrywomen".

If you could become a content creator with a channel/blog/forum, you might be able to scratch some cash out of it. You could look into virtual microjob sites like Fiverr. You could work winters on an Alaskan fishing boat.

If you're an American, with the dearth of employees, you might be able to work a month or two and make enough to pay for your travel; you could sleep in your car while working (you could put your car in "out of service" status and not have to pay for liability insurance).

It's a choice between being a "successful" monk or a "loser with poon".

Airline Pilot.
You will pretty much need to give Uncle Sam (or pick your country's mascot) 6 years of service as a pilot to ascend - and that's only possible if you have uncorrected 20/20 vision.

I would also say cargo ship if you go to nautical school so you can have the better paying jobs like an officer and eventually captain. This guy has a good youtube channel on what it's like. Downside is you're away from home a lot and on ships for months at a time around all men but he gets to get off at ports and explore from time to time.

I wouldn't say cruise ship because pay is very low, small living space, rules, etc.

I have a tiny slice of that in my roles at work: Marketing/PR in healthcare. Meet lots of women. Current GF included. My clinical/pt. care role also is good for meeting women (e.g. my first, official post-divorce date). I have a great job!
