I was 115lbs yep lol

Now I am about 140lbs...still got abs so about 10% bodyfat.

I feel as skinny as always anyway.

So whats 5'10 150lbs like? how about 160lbs.

I am genetically ecto fast metabolism my body doesnt wanna gain weight. I have to eat loads all day long and I hate eating.

So I doubt ill get to 160 lean anytime soon and it will be hard to maintain.

is 5'10 150lbs still skinny. Aint bradd Pitt 5'11 155lbs in fight club?

My arms were 10 inches now they are near 12.5 flexed. I hope 14 looks ok and possible 14s at 150lbs

I was 140 at 5'8'' and skinny as ****. Now I'm 165 and I think I'm too heavy. 155 is right for me you just gotta push it to the limit and see how it looks!

Seriously, who cares???

There are many factors to consider when considering the ideal weight apart from height including; bone density, fluid retention, and internal body fat, just to name a few. Your ideal weight is not going to be the same as the next persons.

Always go by what you see in the mirror (well ideally go by pictures as the mirror can be decievingly flattening), use weight only as a ROUGH (read again: ROUGH) guide to indicate wether you are gaining / burning.

I'm 187 at 5'8" w/ a 32" waist. I still wanna get bigger... 210 would be nice as long as my body composition stays optimal for the bulking season (hopefully around 12%).

As Jax said, weight doesn't really mean a whole helluva lot by itself for individuals who are training purely for aesthetics. Its a different story if you're training to compete in something w/ weight classes, but otherwise who cares? As long as you look and feel good, and you're strong and lean you're doing fine. I was 165 at my aesthetic peak, and I would definitely NOT like to be like that again as I know I'll look way better next year when I'm cut down for my comp.

Once again, weight means nothing unless you take into account body composition and overall appearance and health.

220lbs for your height is actually perfect. I'm 6' 4" and going for ~260lbs.

Yeah, 220 pounds is a good weight for 5'10...

Are we being serious here? Layne Norton is a lean 220 pounds in the off season at 5'10. Layne ****ing Norton. Let's not be extreme here people.

I'm with cuzza here.... 220 sounds insane to me at 5'10". I'm currently 5'10" 175 at 14-15% BF. I'm trying to get down to 10-12% BF and get up to about 180 after gaining more muscle. I can't imagine an additional 30 lbs of muscle, especially when the OP is at 140 and struggling to reach 160.

The answer is easy: it depends. Going for looks, athleticism? I am 5'10" and my ideal would be 180-190 lean. Most professionals in the sport I play ( hockey) fall within this range. There is a point of diminishing returns for someone of my height and gaining too much weight - you lose speed/ agility. However, this comes down to my specific situation. Yours won't be the same, so you really have to set the bar for yourself.

180 is a healthy weight which will get you attention from girls. That much I can promise you. Even at 180, one can always do better.

Somewhere north of 200. Men these days seem to be either fat or tiny. No one gives a sh1t about your six pack when you are 150 lbs.

"No matter what your body fat is. You should weigh at least 1kg for each cm above 1m. Anything less you’ll always look skinny. Some goal weights depending on your height:

1m70/5″7″ at least 70kg/154lbs
1m75/5″9″ at least 75kg/165lbs
1m80/5″11″ at least 80kg/176lbs
1m85/6″1″ at least 85kg/187lbs
1m90/6″3″ at least 90kg/200lbs

Note that these aren’t ideal weights but minima. If you want to weigh more, go for it. Best is to aim for 10lbs/5kg more to make sure. As always: age & gender are irrelevant, GOMAD works for everyone."
