What You Like/Dislike About the New Forum

I wish there were some kind of explanation for the reputation system. Mine says I'm "off the scale" is that good or bad?

Looks like the bodybuilding.com forum

Didn't mind the old design but this is fine.

Also like the bodybuilding.com forum's the rep system. I hated it. People will be afraid to post how they really feel about topics when someone with a higher rep can neg them into nothing. People spamming posts of useless crap in hopes someone + reps them. Or begging for reps. Abuse of the rep system and so forth.

I like how i knew who the good posters were from reading the forums based on feedback. Not on some green e-peen they have. So now someone with massive reps here will be a virgin that dosent go out and actually get laid. I liked quality content not quanity feedback from kiss asses.

Now someone can neg rep me for speaking my mind. I dont like it honestly.

Good points, the "rep" system is a joke especially here where chumps far outweigh posters who actually have a clue. Its just going to give the current AFCs a platform to continue parroting bollocks because those who actually put stock into a "reputation" system will be to worried to call them out.

So will I be looking for posters with a negative reputation to give me help if and when I need advice? Probably.

To be worried about pissing off the mainstream is EXACTLY what this place doesnt need. I dont care but you can bet your ass others will.

It will work at masf where good advice outweighs the mainstream (bad), but here I would be skeptical.

Forum is the same as mysterys forum, only not black. I agree with ronny, the colors are not eye easy as the layout we had before.

Hey all. I don't like the forum look and the color options at all. I liked the last one because it was flat colored and didn't try to fake being 3d like this new one does (using the Tigra skin or whatever). I do like the rep system that seems like a cool option. Other then that lack of good skins it's just dandy!

i really enjoy the quick reply and i really like being able to get online no matter how many users are here
however i didnt remember my password and asked for it several times yesterday . it kept sending me emails saying it was reset and would be sent to me, but wasnt yesterday. however today as soon as i asked for it to be reset, it was emailed right then.
guess sometimes there are gliches in new things for a bit.

Doesnt display age with location anymore...i always found that usefull. Cant be arsed to go into every single account page to find that **** out.


Apart from that it looks abit better but not alot else has changed....or at least i aint found the new stuff yet. The down time made me bored at work.....But all is good now

This forum does allow for more discrete viewing which is a real advantage if you want to sneak a peak at work. Not that the girl wasn't an HB9 or so on the screen.

Now this site is just like the sports site I read daily or bodybuilding as well.

Not too bad, seems to load alot faster. ASF needs to do something like this as it loads very slowly.

forget the rep system it will just be a joke within weeks. I really dislike taking the posters age off. Especially considering how bad the youngsters would spam the mature mans forum as of recent. I dont want advice from 16yr old virgins, who have high rep because they have too much free time.

The layout is nicer though and the quick reply helps.

I think this is the best advice ronny boy offered on this site to date!:yes: Just joking ronny.

The only thing I don't like is the new "rolleyes" emoticon - the eyes are not rolled that much and it is blue. A blue rolleyes emoticon?? Pffft, who has ever heard of such a thing!
