What would make her pick up the phone?

............Since I'm done with school for the summer I'm going to try and focus on organizing and enhancing my writing, which tends to be essays, into a collection of short stories. The semester just ended yesterday and I'm already wondering what I'm going to do with all my spare time. If I can focus, writing will most certainly keep me busy. We can keep emailing, or you can call me at XXXXXXXXXXXXX

I called her after two days, sure she didn't pick up the phone...
Since she like to write I leaft a bit long voice message:
"Hi this is Al, I wanted to talk to you about writing since I am also interested in it, though I am more of a reader. Please give me a call back at YYYYYYY thanks bye"

Two days have passed.....she of course didn't call me back.. at least didn't leave any message.

If it would be with just one girl, it would be ok...
But I had about 5 such situations: emaing... she" here is my number..." I call her, she didn't pick up teh phone. Dont return my message.

Question: what could be done besides NEXTing her?
Should I call her again? After how many days?
Any suggestions?
Maybe.. I should email her with "Ok, I'll call you on tuesday at 9pm?" Maybe that specific time would make a difference?

But since already more then 5 women chose to send me their numbers when I even didn't ask for it, and later just dont pick up the phone...maybe I should try to call her again in a couple of days?

if you met her online you have to provide a time when you will call. She has to be in an open mindset to talk to a stranger ala phone. Ask when would b a good time to call, hell reply with soemthing specific, like 12:00. You reply, ok, Ill talk to you tomorrow afternoon.

Why would you call her again? So she knows that you called her 30x instead of 29x??

Never leave long @ss boring messages!! When you call and leave a message, keep it brief and don't tell her what its about so she wonders what you wanted. You sound waaaay too desperate by saying "please call me back." I understand your being polite but it doesn't sound right at all.

My rule is: I'll call one time and leave a voicemail. If she doesn't return it after 2 days then I'll call back again and leave another voice mail with my number. If she calls back, great. If not, it's done with.

There is a slight chance that *maybe* she lost your number or *maybe* she didn't get your voicemail for whatever reason; but that doesn't happen twice.

1. If I dont call her... or contact her over email she'll never call me back - if you ever done online personals, you'd know that pattern.
Plus - imagine how she thinks: I gave my number to this dude...and he wants me to call him? no way!

2. My message was that boring? I mention her interest that we talked about, at least I thoiught it is better than "Thats me Al... callme back at...

What you say makes sense.
But in my experience online chick never called back.. never!

Are you talkign about women you met personally got her number etc? or you met her online?
Has anyone, any chick from online called you back?
