If your brother is getting these constantly, then it's something he is doing in his interactions with women that has caused these responses.

Don't look for a quick-fix ****y line to stroke your ego, address the problem at the root.

I was just joking around. I don't think that anyone should use a witty line for this type of situation unless he is going to do it in a joking way and then move on with his life. If nothing else, you at least come out looking like someone who can find the humor in a situation.

Remember that no matter how good you get at dealing with the ladies, your always going to get rejected every now and then. Might as well have something witty to say back to them. I'd rather have something funny to say than just walk away all flustered. Also to help protect my ever so fragile ego.
